Jimmy made a more compelling reason as to why HE would be a poor gun owner. He’s arguing with a guy that is an avid gun enthusiast about good gun judgment with evidence clearly coming only from T.V. and Movies. He sounds like he honestly believes that had he been the one in this situation, he would have whipped out his gun at the beginning and wouldn’t be sitting in court explaining why he thought it was appropriate to have pulled a gun on an unarmed kid. NO ONE WANTS TO HAVE TO GUN THEIR GUN!!!!! You almost convince yourself that nothing bad will happen and don’t wanna even acknowledge that you were wrong this time and it’s time to pull out the gun. The actual appropriate time. That being said, I have always and still am split on this thing. It’s just too much in favor of, yet also discounting, for both sides. Everyone picked sides from the moment the individual races were known...... kind of.... Zimmerman wasn’t white, but whatever. He looked like us enough for the MSM.
@-Twotonepony-7 жыл бұрын
Michael Bowman I mean, the video covers both narratives. So the reasons I'm split is because I can see the logic of both sides and we can't hear both parties sides of the story. I could see him being attacked and being forced to use the gun at the last given moment, but I could also certainly see him provoking the situation and escalating it. But unless he physically attacked Trayvon, then Trayvon had no reason to attack him because provoking isn't illegal. That's not to say he didn't make it physical first. But that's my whole point, we can't be 100% certain of anything and so we just have to trust that the system came to the correct conclusion. So I'm not trying to seem rude by any means, but how exactly could you specifically clear it up unless you were there? And even if you say you were, this is a KZbin comment section. That wouldn't make me any less split on it. But I'm more than happy to hear a different aspect from anyone if it's something that is factual and not just an emotionally certain feeling.

I love Anthony when he's funny but his racist bs literally ruined the show.

"its not illegal to follow someone" neither is walking around in a hoodie

no shit

No shit he says but misses the point. The point is no one is acting like walking around in a hoodie is illegal, Trayvons fault is when he attacked him not for putting a hoody on that day. Idiot.

I love Anthony except for most of his politics and pretty much all of his views on race relations in the United States. He's just so unwilling to see anything but the views he's already decided upon, and when anyone presents another point he just screams like an insane person over them. I don't know if it's his actual views or the way he presents them, but any time they try and have a serious discussion about politics or race relations I can never finish it

Dumb argument from Jim Norton. He's not a cop but he had a gun BUT he should have had it drawn on the suspect and shouldn't have allowed himself to get jumped on by said suspect. So he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't apparently.

Trayvon was walking in a neighborhood from a store, he was wearing a hoody cause it was raining on and off that day, he wasn't breaking in anyones house nor bothering anyone. Zimmerman started to follow him and Trayvon pounced on him out of self defense as anyone would if they think they are about to get attacked, Zimmerman does not have a look of a friendly neighbor. Trayvon did not garnish any weapons, there was no need for Zimmerman to pull out his gun and shoot. No one can tell me any different.

+Willow216p Shave the head and give him a Sanchez goatee, and he looks like every Mexican henchman in every movie ever. I realize he might not be Mexican. He's hispanic. Same difference.

Shit you should be testifying in court you apparently where there seen it all. FYI good kids don't post pictures with wads of cash from illiegal activities and drug talk it is what it is he probably tried to check his nuts and ended up paying with his life

Funny how I heard Anthony multiple times saying that use of lethal force for self defense is not only justified WHEN ATTACKED, but when you BELIEVE you are in danger. Really funny how he didnt seem to have that belief in this conversation too, ehm...ehm cognitive dissonance ehm...ehm
@Willow216p8 жыл бұрын
You have stated your opinion, but, Zimmerman did not know who Trayvon was and I'm sure Trayvon did not know who or what kind of guy was following him. If I was being followed like that I would've been ready to fight myself. If that makes me retarded, then so be it! Zimmerman was told not to pursue, he is not law enforcement and he has gotten himself into trouble for being overly zealous after the this trial was over. Zimmerman started the whole thing so he got his ass kicked a little, at least he is still alive. Can't say that for Trayvon now can we?

Breezy 1994 nope, no weapons were garnished. Not a gun, knife, or sword was adorned with a nice sprig of parsley, nor a tiny fruit carved in to a flower likeness that night.

Ant argues in bad faith. If the roles were reversed, he'd say Trayvon was in the wrong for playing cop and following Zimmerman.
@FSinWCR11 жыл бұрын
It's hard to take Anthony's side when you know his mentality on this was that Zimmerman was in the right for this.

Did Norton where that head dress during the entire argument ?
