The whole wheeling the huge boxes into court thing by Dominic Barbera was a total calculated move that attorneys use all the time. There was absolutely nothing in them. It’s the illusion that there is information out there that could be used against you that makes it such a wonderful tactical move. You think there is so much info that they can come at you with that it’s almost self defeating to fight it. Police Detectives do the exact same thing to people who they are interrogating. They will fill the room with boxes labeled with your name or the name of the victim and maybe have pictures up on a story board that makes it appear they have mountains of evidence/information on you. Of course it’s all smoke and mirrors and they are hoping you take the bait and spill your guts.
@WaldoBagelTopper2 ай бұрын
I always laugh so much with the marriage discussion on O&A. But in my personal life, nothing is more depressing than the thought of getting married or potentially spending my life with the same person. It sounds so f’ing depressing. It’s just illogical. People want to be loved and feel special. I get that. But that’s not what you get when you get married. With time it always devolves into this “aww, it’s sweet- they constantly fight and insult each other”. It’s just f’ing sick. I remember being in a relationship where this chick’s parents were old and the mom would constantly talk to the dad as if he was human garbage. And everyone found it “sooo funny and sweet”. You could talk to the guy and not even spend 5 minutes with him before realizing he wanted to put the business end of a shotgun in his mouth. I tried to be a saving grace for him and we’d talk privately. And I’d let him tell me his “glory days” stories even if they were repeats. And I’d let him talk about regrets he had with women as a younger man. You could tell that shit was therapeutic for him. He’d get so happy when I’d come around because someone would listen. He passed away- and though I was sad in the traditional sense, I was happy in a less traditional sense because I knew he’d finally escaped his Kun … T of a wife. I once got into an argument with that same woman I was dating and I told her “if you let it cross your monkey ass that you’ll ever speak to me like your mother would abuse your father, you’re out of your goddamn mind. You’ll have another thing coming”. And her response was so pathetic and weird that I decided right then and there that I was going to dump her. And I did. Instead of denying it or getting angry or anything , she said “but why not? “ in this whimpery pathetic little girl voice and started crying. That was like 15 years ago. I really do enjoy my freedom and have felt very happy talking to a new woman every so often. Every few months I’ll meet someone new. Eventually they all morph into the same personality and I know it’s time to make an exit. I just enjoy that fun “talking to someone new” feeling. And when it wears off, it’s time to move on.

Captain Morgan gives Anthony some advice and tells him to go ahead with the marriage: 28:54 What I don't get is the threesomes, which Anthony was afraid of mentioning both during the court proceedings and when Patrice asked around 1:13:13 but later he describes them anyway. As unpopular of an opinion this may be...I do feel when Opie was not in an insecure mood he was actually pretty good in the role of the straight guy and setting up interesting convos for Ant and Jim to riff. O&A from the XM + Sirius XM days has a certain magic that no other show has subsequently been able to capture. When the 3 of them could put their differences aside, they really were in a league of their own. Obviously Jim and Ant are far superior to Opie in doing shows individually since O&A...I'm just saying there's something different when it was all 3 working together.

Can you imagine a life where you have the entitlement to one or several men's income? I can't even grasp what it must feel like to be a woman.
@sweetpotatofries992 жыл бұрын
Sure, because that happens to soooooo many of us. It doesn't. Mostly the men leave you with the kids and you have to fight for years to even get child support. Ant's wife got lucky.

Anthony caved because the ex was going to tell the press about what Anthony _really_ likes in the bedroom. Hint: not just chicks. Otherwise, wouldn’t he just let her say what she wants? Wouldn’t some spicy news articles help the show and it’s notoriety?

Anthony Cunia is gay though, his marriage stories sound like rehearsed bits, as does his childhood recollections (I doubt he's Sicilian too, very Jewish persona).

Dunno bout that, but he definitely cashed a check from Dennis Prager
