Not everyone hates him. Ant has his ballwashers in the YT comments section but most of the old fans have turned on Ant at this point now that more has come out about the shit he was pulling behind the scenes that led to a lot of the tension between them. Opie wasn’t the funny one but anyone with ears can figure out for themselves that he made Ant better. TACS and Jim&Sam and everything else these guys have tried without Opie has sucked.

Top Tier Teal Tipped Spears it’s unfortunate but this comes from management fearing the politics of today. You can see it in O & A when they returned to NYC on K Rock. They later admitted that the biggest problem wasn’t the FCC but the political correctness that management enforced. Ant made references to the old Mike Tyson bits that they couldn’t even think of doing something like that on radio at that point. Problem is, they didn’t mention that they contributed to the climate with stupid stunts like naked bus and ultimately, anal sex in Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. It’s one thing for you to play the gag on a shoe that people have to go out of their way to listen to, but quite another when you attack people with it in their place of worship when they weren’t even thinking about your show
