I always cringe when the boys shill for Leno just because he was putting Norton on. Everyone knows that Leno was lame. He was everything that the boys shat on in other comedians. Conan was clearly better than Leno and 100% in the right in the situation

You're absolutely right, although Jay Leno is honestly almost as likeable as Conan was. Jay's car shows are always great, and he's a decent guy so I can't hate Jay Leno.

I love Leno...I like Conan more - but I think Leno did a great job at keeping the energy of the original "Tonight Show" Theres a consistency that was kept from Carson to Leno - where Conan felt like an entirely new energy.... And I have a personal bias, because Leno used to do stand up every afternoon to prepare his late night monolog....and he would deliver his jokes with ZERO energy, just to see if they would land. And if the joke made people laugh with ZERO energy behind it, then it made it to the monolog. But I used to love going to the show & watching Jay Leno BOMBBBB on purpose. 🤣 The best part about comedy, is watching people bomb...and watching someone bomb on purpose, and move on confidently...I mean...thats what makes a pro a pro.

Jimmy is the only comic I’ve ever seen support Leno. I wonder if it’s because he’s a worm and Dave wouldn’t let him do his show, or if it’s because Howard loathed Leno so much.

In typical Opie fashion he makes the dumb skin tag joke that doesn't land the first time, then doubles down on the joke immediately - trying to force it 2 more times. Then 5 minutes later tries to do a callback to the same joke that didn't land the first 3 times. The insecurity is SEETHING from him.

Opie is like an Alzheimer's patient. They may have a day they do pretty good, and don't make an ass/be as abnoxious, but we all know it won't last and only gets worse

I really hate Jimmy's blatant asskissing of Leno here. And I absolutely loathe Rosie and everything she's ever done. Except the TV movie where she played a *you know what, YT won't let me say it*. That was some of the funniest and most unintentionally hilarious shit I've ever seen!
