I just bought the Oppo Watch 46mm after my Samsung Active 2 watch died. I'd loved the look of the watch when I first saw its launch in China at the beginning of this year, the rectangle screen appealed to me. It took Oppo months & months to bring the watch to the UK with the 46mm only launching towards the end of November & in black only. I read & watched reviews, many were mixed reviews, some saying fitness tracking was hit & miss which is irrelevant to me being in a wheelchair. I purchased through Vodafone, who incidentally are the only network you can use the LTE on this watch, so that I could try it out for 14 days & return it for a full refund if I didn't like it. I have to say I really like it, I love the look of it. As I said fitness tracking isn't something I use but I am interested in sleep tracking and this watch does a better job than my Samsung Active 2 did! I'd read Amazon reviews saying battery life was a problem, I disagree. Yesterday I had it on for 24 hours and had 43% battery left! That has been roughly the same each day. I did once keep stopwatch going for almost 2 hours & that day I had 30% left at the end of 24 hour period. Today I have had my watch on for 12 hours & battery is at 83%! I generally put it on to charge an hour before bed so its fully charged & can track my sleep & its ready for the following day. Charging is quick with Oppo Vooc. I have my watch setup with Always On display and can report no issues with it. Having the rectangular display makes reading texts, emails & notifications a dream. I do have a few niggles, it doesn't respond to "hey google", the "cards" are limited especially if you don't want fitness ones, so I have a calendar card, a news one but that is US news and I'm in the UK, a sleep tracking card & heart rate card. You can't turn off any of the fitness tracking apps which is a shame & could improve battery life further. Apart from that I'm really enjoying the Oppo Watch so far & glad I went for it.

I recently received my Chinese model Oppo Watch and for the most part, I am extraordinarily pleased. I've owned 7 or so Wear OS devices and each one has had glitches, hiccups and just plain performance issues literally right out of the box to the point I sold or gave away each one rather than use them. I switched to Samsung's Tizen and haven't looked back. But this Oppo Watch has changed my mind. The style is remarkable even though it really IS similar to the apple watch. The curved edges look infinitely better than the regular apple device, too. I've read several online reviews that suggest it only looks like the apple watch, but is much less premium...which I dispute 100%. I've handled several apple watches and they are very well made, but so is the Oppo Watch. Every bit as well made, so this argument is flat-out untrue. The screen though, WOW. It really POPS. Colors are amazing, more vivid than any other watch I've ever owned at any price...and smooth? I have yet to see a stutter or glitch at all. A complete about-face from ALL Wear OS watches I've had before. Yes, this is running the Color OS and not Wear OS, but underneath it all, that is the heart of this device. I just wish I could access a few things specific to Wear OS that I can't with my model, but otherwise, it is a fantastic smart watch.

@@mochicocaine We have cavity wall insulation with about a foot of roof insulation to keep homes nice and toasty, very few have pools and even less have aircon. Many business have no HVAC, only heating. When its hot in the UK there is no respite such as in countries with warmer climates, in the UK everything is designed for the winter so when it reaches 95F (yes even in south wales its been 35 Deg C recently) you struggle. Also its "too" hot and "too" humid....but we're the dumb ones.

It means that you can use your phone service without your phone being in you. So you ca. Have your watch on and leave your phone at home and you can make phone calls and texts for example and you can use your data too. Hope this helps 😊

This watch apparently has 1 gb ram with virtually no lag. The Ticwatch Pro later this year will be the first watch to feature the 4100. For me, I'm satisfied with the 1 gb ram watch.

Very nice watch - yes, a square Wear OS I suppose may be more user friendly. I have a Ticwatch Pro 2020 for a couple of months now that I've found to be really useful (first smartwatch). I think this needs to come down in price a wee bit though to be more competitive :-) (and yea, go with Goodfellas). This may actually be useful to quickly do some web browsing and youtube (when Wear OS gets around to really supporting that). Saving cost for the 3100 chipsset obviously but my Ticwatch has a 2100 chipsset and haven't noticed any lag - it's all about having at least 1GB+ on the ram.
