Greetings from a village called San Diego in a country called California. I enjoy your videos. For some reason, I have daydreams of moving to rural Indiana or to Greenfield.😊

We moved from Michigan to Brownsburg 12 years ago. This town has seen a lot of growth and changes in those 12 years.

Nice video! We visited new construction homes in the McCordsville area in August, and the homes we saw are still on the market today. Not only are they still available, but their prices have also dropped significantly. We live in the Chicago area and are considering relocating to the Indianapolis area for retirement. Ideally, we would like to build a house (not a Lennar or DR Horton home), though we are unsure if it’s worth it, given that new construction homes are lingering on the market in our target area, which is McCordsville. There’s a lot of hype about this part of the Indianapolis area growing and developing a new downtown, but anything could happen to delay or halt those plans. Therefore, I think people should exercise caution and use common sense before making any purchases in this economy.

I own a home just near the border of Indianapolis and Hancock County and you are spot on with the growth going on. There is a very large apartment complex with retail space and condo's going up just across the county line in Hancock. I am slowly fixing up my house in anticipation of the growth that will be happening in this area. I also wasn't aware of the Amazon and Walmart presence either. Very informative!

I'd love to know what Whiteland and North Whiteland areas are like. Shopping, jobs, coffee houses, is it safe? I looked through your videos and don't see one for Whiteland.

Indianapolis’s skyline grows by about two high-rises every 15 to 20 years. Most people go to bed by 10 PM. It’s just a very boring place.

10:23 says things will continue to "fill in" with growth and amenities and that sounds promising, but what neighborhoods and towns do you recommend that are not in a flood plain, for those of us who have that concern?
@LivingInIndianapolis3 ай бұрын
Most places aren’t in a flood zone. When people have their eye on a home that is an easy determination.

I'm hoping Olio gets wider because traffic gets heavy at Broadway and Olio, late for work many times.

I agree. It will get busier through there
