Antigua & Barbuda is really $130,000 when you include the government fee. Nevertheless, it's a good deal for families because for that price you can have up to 4 total family members. The others charge extra for a spouse and children.

I think Antigua and Barbuda has the best programme overall, their passport have one of the best accesses and is also the most developed island out of all five. However, if your willing to spend some time on the ground I would say Portugal has the best programme

Downside is you have to figure in the cost of making the in person visit that is only required by this program.

Antigua requires you to visit the country every 5 years. That might be a problem the next time global lockdowns start. Or for older people who can't travel

They bully for politics. The countries just move thier CBI programs to "unoffical". Once you look into it...its simply amazing how many countries you can obtain an Unoffical CBI passport or residence visa. Eastern Europe, Middle East, Central Asia.

I love these videos. I don't need to go anywhere right now, but am I'm looking at what to do in 15 years or less as I might not be able to take care of myself anymore. End of life care sort of thing in an environment where people are generally nice. I saw a great retirement home in Thailand where it seems the carers treated the people with respect. Was thinking about India also.

@@OffshoreCitizen I've been vegetarian for about 40 years and think it would be good to be in a place where the carers are vegetarian also, lot's in India. I would think they have homes set up for such elderly people given there are so many of them.

Two points: The European Commission has appointed a committee to study those various programs. It will take time before recommendation are made. Then consolations will start with the Non-EU partners in Schengen-land such as Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland. Things could start happening in the middle of next year as decisions require consensus.. The second point is that holders of strong passports such as The US, Canada, The UK, or Australia can't care less whether St. Kitts or Antigua, for that matter, lose visa free access to Schengen-land because they can use their strong passports for visa-free traveling.. They get a St. Kitts passport in order to avoid corporate and personal income tax, but itrequires establishing residency for tax purposes. .

Your second point is inaccurate Passport has nothing to do with tax so people generally aren't buying the citizenship for tax purposes but rather back up purposes so yes they do care as do people from places like India looking for better access

Looking forward to your video on Thailand's new tax rules for crypto income. 🎉 I may move to Malaysia instead (and the Thai gov will lose sooo much foreign investment money, since so many crypto millionaires and billionaires will leave the country). Great if your video separates between crypto trading vs crypto holding incomes for expats in Thailand. And HOW they per definition separate between trading and holding for selling in the bull run 2025. Some holders sell and buy on a monthly basis, "hopefully" that is not defined as trading... Also, a loophole is if you never stay more than a month or so in Thailand, and only do short term or tourist visas?

Appreciate your videos, but with connections to the area, locals appreciate passports for sale as much as other countries which are the ultimate destinations for some of these economic refugees. The sooner its closed with a 3000-digit combination the better

Certainly, I won't choose Saint Lucia because it does not offer inheritance to the third generation and the fees for adding a newborn are extremely high.

@@OffshoreCitizen It’s crazy, not only foreign residents will have to pay taxes in Thailand, but the price of the Elite visas has gone through the roof, Thailand is off the list (I feel bad for all those people that bought a 10-20 year Elite Visa thinking they were going to live tax free in Thailand.)
