We the citizens wants lower cost of living, lower utilities, open up plants so that small contractors can get jobs. Stop taxing the citizens to death including penalties and creating new taxes. We want a government with vision for our country. We don't want a government with no vision so they resort to taxing the life of the citizens. Lower taxes for businesses. We can make Trinidad like a Panama hub. We can have cruise ships coming to our island thus increase tourism. We can create a system in the education system where trade and skills can be implemented with academics thus creating entrepreneurs. We can create some form of employment for stay at home mothers. When we create better families we can have a better society. Women should be able to retire at age 55yrs. More respect for elderly in this country. We need leaders who cares for the people and the generations to come. Petrotrin should not have shut down , too much of greed for monies. Banks need to give their customers better returns on their savings. No to property tax, make it make sense why does a homeowner have to pay to rent their own home when they toiled and labored hard to build their own home. Did the government contribute to building our homes ? Why are we the citizens are being punished by any governments ? Many persons have committed suicide when covid hit because banks were coming down on them, they lost their jobs etc. The governments have failed humanity. We need our leaders to have a heart of flesh and not a heart of stone. Many students dropped out of schools during covid because their families could not have afford and lost their belongings they have worked hard over the years. Lots of small businesses have closed down , many families have lost their way , depression have been the highest. Is their anything in place for high school students to gain employment for experience and mentorship whilst they're going school even on vacation periods ?
