...its called a talk show for a reason. the only reason why she talks more than other guests is because she's experienced with talking and providing long winded answers, and even asking questions back. in my opinion this was a well rounded interview, on both sides.

As humans we all have our shortcomings, so do they. Nobody is perfect. They are both talented in different ways. How boring it would be if they both thought alike. Lets us appreciate them for who they are instead of casting remarks and insulting them. This world is a better place because of people like them.

Oprah is the guest, she is the Mother of talk shows (the first woman talk show host) and Ellen is in awe of her, of course, many people are. Oprah has evolved as a person and a talk show host. Her interrupting has gotten better with time.

Yeah Oprah dominates, but she is an old pro. I just loved this for the reason you really got to learn alot more about Ellen and I found that Ellen seemed more relaxed and open with Oprah there guiding it. Like she didn't have to have a face on, and rather just talking with a friend. I loved it because I think this interview had more insight and interestingness the pretty much any other I have seen on any show.

I'll take the Ellen show over oprah's any day. Both are great. This is more of a conversation than an interview. And how is Oprah overpowering Ellen? I think it was fine and Oprah was telling stories, it's a great change to see Oprah talk about herself than to have to ask the questions.

@sajae90 oprah didnt overtake the interview. First of all, ellen's show is about the guest. Ellen is only there to fillup the silence and give questions when the guests becomes quiet. Since Oprah is a natural talker, she doesnt need questions to be thrown at her..so she just talks talks talks..while ellen listens.

lol two minutes into this thing i was gonna comment about how oprah asked all the qs but everyone else had already. when she has the right guest she can be very good, but franly her interviewing skills arent all that gret, she subtedly looks to get praised herself no matter what the circumstance. people are just afraid to question her popularity beause of her chairity work, which is, admittedly, very admirable.
