I love Oprah, because of her sense of empathy! I had a terrible emotional depression since the ages of 18 to 20! My life was black, I struggled and tried to get up and continue my life, but it was impossible for me. One day a watched the Oprah Show, and the day after and so on. My inside changed. And I’m great full to her. So I went to different universities to ask what career, was similar to Oprah’s show. So i started psychology, on those 4 years and a half a went to therapy 2 times a week. Later I became a psychotherapist and changed therapist. 2 years ago I remembered I was sexually abused being 6 years old. I love helping people because, each time a session starts I can feel their emotions and understand their problem. Thanks Oprah, KZbin and cable tv from Mexico City. Know i live in Argentina, greetings from Buenos Aires. ❤❤❤

I love Oprah & I miss her show so much! The show, airing in my youth, was the best thing to watch that was in the NOW. I looked forward to it every day after school! Seeing this for the first time, as well as the finale, brought me tears. She's a spectacular woman & they'll never be another like her!
@ronnieblossom395610 жыл бұрын
No matter what... I just have this very strong feeling that she secretly regrets stopping at 25. When you think of her reasoning of stopping at "the right number". She could have gone on to 30 or 35. Oh well...
@Noaaxxh9 жыл бұрын
that's still close to 25.... but you can't hold on to things forever. The show will be missed
@hm20111004 жыл бұрын
But OWN is incredible - she now produces a whole network of shows & continues to teach w shows like Masterclass & Supersoul Sunday without having to do shallow makeover shows that she said she was pushed into doing. She can sleep now & take care of her health & enjoy her California estate. Oprah’s not a regretter. She always moves forward to bigger things.

If only you only knew how much goes into a talk show every episode is like planning a wedding. She was working 16 hours most days and she said she doesn't miss that aspect of it. She misses the "wedding day" but not all the work that goes into planning the wedding. Also, she hated celebrity guests. However, her production company had contracts with movie studios and probably record companies too. This guarantees a steady flow of celebrity guests--which the people want to see. Don't know how she did 25 years. She says she was exhausted in the early 90s. I guess the money was too good to resist. However, even though she was #1 in the ratings her audience shrank more and more every year as people watch TV less and less in general.

Why Are People Being So Rude Towards This Individual Who Has Done Nothing But Help People?! To Think That People Took Their Time To Write Such Nasty Comments Is Mind Boggling To Me. I Just Can't Imagine How Messed Up You Have To Be Too Say Some Of The Things That Have Been Said In The Comments Of This Video. Oprah Has Inspired/Helped Millions. Some People Are Just So Ignorant. I'm 13, And To Think Some 20, 30, 40+ Year Olds Are Commenting Such Rude And Awful Things Is Crazy.

Renaee Graham sending 400 people to college is a lot. College is ridiculously expensive
@mikrokupu6 жыл бұрын
kr If so what difference that would make to those 400?
@mikrokupu6 жыл бұрын
kr The truth probably is somewhere between, she cared (more or less) both the people and the ratings. Anyway, hundreds of people got a better start, kudos to her. I think I would had have mixed feelings personally, grateful for the help but feeling uncomfortable being material for the entertaining business, kind of.. In Finland where I live it's a different system, college is free but getting in can be hard. If you pass the entrance exam finance is not a problem, no tuition fees and you are entitled to a student allowance from the state. But yes, we pay higher taxes too...

Yes, I have a neighbor who has 4 children, every time I go to the store, I bring her a gallon of mild, bread, PB and jelly, no one to help her, no one. The system is being taken away from the poor. I volunteer in a hospital, use my gas to get there and back......but that is about to come to an end! The hospital should at least pay for my gas, after all me volunteering keeps them from having to hire someone, and that is taking advantage...the hospital makes lots of money.
