She is, and coincidence I was thinking about Keith Whitley wondering his alcoholism was a symptom of self medication for a deeper issue, or the whole problem itself. Lorrie Morgan was put through the wringer as his wife. Beautiful to see her perform for Ronnie at the Opry.

@@finalvoyage35 I think she was thinking about Keith when she sang this song. I don't think she's ever lost the love she had for him nor gotten over losing him. That could be why all her relationships since then have not gone well nor lasted long. I have empathy for her.

Me , my niece her husband and son just visited the Grand Ole Opry just last Tuesday we was on our way back home from my brothers house in Tennessee. So we stopped in Nashville and got to take a tour of the Grand Ole Opry .it was the highlight of the trip!

The Opry standards are so low quality now. That band used to be amazing, & always had background singers. They have artists who nobody knows, or wants to. Not really country. Gwen Stefani, seriously? I don't care how big Blake Shelton is. Used to mean something to be in the Opry, but no more.

My dad played the Opry many yrs ago. The one thing that was constant was how good the players and singers were. He loved them all. I've not been back there, and prob won't since woke took it over and since it became pop instead of country.
