As far as your question about downlead connections on the earcups, Ops Core makes multiple downsleads depending on your desired setup. Binaural, Monaural, Stereophonic, Amphenol, Aircraft and EU. Binaural - single PTT w/single radio, radio audio will be in both ears. Monaural - two independent PTTs, with two radios, audio for each radio will be piped into the earcup it's attached to. Stereophonic - For Dual PTT use, will send information only to the left or right earcup depending which PTT button is selected. Similar to the monaural cable but is achieved with a dual PTT vice two single PTTs.

I'm making a set up to have a gas mask with a communication attachment connect to a headset to my radio, so I can talk while wearing the mask , while wearing a helmet with rails on the side and front for light attachment and NVG attachment in the front, so I've got every aspect covered

Hey, i also have a pair for Ops Core AMPs, Been trying to figure out the radio setup with PTT. So I'll get the U174 Cable from Ops Core, but which PTT and Radio do you recommend? I only need Single Comms The only PTT Device I've been able to find is cheap stuff on Amazon. I appreciate your time and info! Thank you.

Very informative, and just what I needed (in an older video I asked a question covering exactly this), thanks. Regarding the whole having 2 TEA PTTs plugging into 2 headset downleads from a Dualcomm Peltor and needing a 2 pin splitter wire to go into each of them: Why didn't you just use the dualcomm TEA PTT with one downlead and needing to only fill in 1 2 pin port (so direct from mask to PTT)?

Also, if you plugged the 2 pin gas mask lead directly to the dualcomm Peltors will you get dual comm capability out of it? If I'm getting this right the Peltor dualcomms separate each earcup to receive transmissions from only the PTT that the particular side is plugged into, now I know the boom mic doesn't do that it goes to whichever is keyed up, but does the gas mask internal microphone do that?

Thank for your video. I’m LEO, patrol. Equipped radio Motorola APX 6000, I bought my own Maximal Power RHF 617-1N 3.5 mm receiver. I’m trying to figure out if I can integrate the OPSCORE SOTR with the Motorola radio. I do not wear a helmet/Pelator of any kind for duty, of course. I wear the issued agency baseball cap style. I would like to integrate for medical calls. Also, I noticed that the SOTR on website mentions bacteria but not viruses, which are significantly smaller. Any insight if they offer a filter for viruses? Maybe I not looking in the right place on their website. Thanks again for the video.
