I was never a fan of the gun mode. I do not care much for mass shifting, and the only two characters who do that which I enjoy are Soundwave and Perceptor because the characters themselves are cool with elegent designs. So, I am happy that the big bad leader of the Decepticons is an assault tank instead of a handgun.

Right The handgun was not a dominant Thing for him to transform into , The leader of the cons was transforming into a Handgun for other cons to use..... I absolutely hated that, a tank fits him much better and Is much more dominant

I like the battle wear, it adds character and some nice detail. These are warring factions, they shouldn't look fresh out of the factory all the time.

Megatron works best as a tank, at least in this modern age. It's the ultimate symbol of war. Besides, I doubt the gun alt mode would work these days without going the Classics route and making it a sci-fi blaster.

i fell in love with Titans Return Megatron, but this one is just amazing, i dont have him yet but the reviews have been great. i love that you dont need to remove his canon for his transformation ( you can but just dont need to ), and i like that the Decepticon icon is not a cheap sticker. this was an awesome review as always dude

Great review! I also agree that Megatron works as a tank, I think the first tank I've seen for Megatron's alternate mode was in Transformers: Armada I believe, and it suits him. He's been a tank for a while now, most notably the Combiner Wars Megatron. The paint applications look good, it indicates war damage and I think it will be the same for this entire line, and BTW, have you seen Leader Class Ultra Magnus? Looks incredible! But the one I'm most looking forward to is the Deluxe class Hound!

These are awesome i cant believe i missed Chosen Primes a second. It was there, tried order it & was gone. I like how Has-Tak go extra mile with all pins, screws, ratchets & little movable parts like shoulder gun hammer pieces. Great review!

US law regarding toy/replica guns make a Gun-Megatron a non-starter And when you then about it He's been a tank and/or aircraft longer then he's ever been a gun.

thundercat2000ca unless they come with that removable orange piece. That’s what the Masterpiece G1 Megatron figure has. And most of the time, people just have him in robot mode with the battle damage pieces applied to the figure so they can recreate the fight between him and Optimus Prime in the old Transformers movie. Extra points if they have G1 Hot Rod. “Fall! FALL!!!”

A very impressive figure. They kept his cool robot mode while giving him an impressive new Alt mode. And with almost no kibble! His front treads fold into a sort of back pack but it doesn't stick out or look out of place. The worst I can say about it is that in tank mode those are so obviously his his feet sticking out the back.

The battle damage is easy to overlook in my opinion. When I saw the preview images some time ago I didn't like it that much, but in hand it's a great figure. What I do for the head is I just took a small piece of paper, folded it up, and placed it in there underneath the flap the head's on. Easy fix as I personally don't plan on taking him out of robot mode that often anyway. Great video as always man.

My favorite part about the Siege Megatron figure is the turret knife he uses, got me into thinking if I made a Transformers character based on the character who wears black armor and carries a big ahh sword from this one violent manga I read lol.

While they're about the same height. Megatron looks bigger overall. Just more mass, bigger chest, etc, and I really like that. I like his backpack weirdly enough. Optimus's backpack had a more kibbly look to me because of it being a pile of flat panels. Megatron's looks a little more purpose full I guess.

It does look better then the tr megs, but I don't like the paint damage on the chest. But I'm not going to buy it so it dosent mater. I hope once this siege trilogy is done we get a hard reboot of the franchise like beast wars did. All we are getting now are slight variations of g1, and there's only soo much g1 you can do

Peaugh recently showed what the Megatron and Optimus Prime from this line looked like without the battle damage paint aps on his Twitter and they look pretty sweet! He used rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and the paint came right off

If it wasn't for the fact that I hand painted TR Megs metallic silver and with a Shapeways arm cannon, I'd probably switch over to this figure. I also gave him a better sticker(from reprolabels) for the Decepticon symbol. Same situation for my Prime F/E Optimus when compared to this now line. I will have to pick up that LC Shockwave. He looks hella nice.

Honestly, I do like the tank design. The robot mode however doesn't really appeal to me. Just feels too wide for me. Plus G1 style Megatron isn't really my thing with his bucket head. Just a personal opinion.

I have Siege Meg next to me and I can say...the "dirt" makings are random when I was checking between yours from mine. The flap where the head is is aminor nit-pik...but not enough to deduct the points off of this figure. Might do the same on replacing the "Titans return" off my chelf...just leaving the titan master on there.

I like battle dagame as a concept, but some of these... I like the damage/dirt on Megatron's legs, but his chest area "damage" just looks weird to me. Something about the color, I think. And possibly the very sort of "neat" application.

not that big a fan of this tank mode. It doesn't seem to quite stay together and it has no treads so it's a kind of cybertronian hover tank I guess. The figure itself looks awesome and goes great with Optimus Prime who I discovered can also wear Megatron's cannon on his arms thanks to his 5mm ports but I wouldn't mind seeing another version of his classic handgun mode (guess they think it's too violent for kids these days) Or since this a cybertronian take on the character maybe go all out and give him war within or idw pre- earth modes which both looked awesome
