Optiganally Yours - MR. WILSON - Official Video

Official Optigan MERCH now available! optigan.thread... This is the official video for MR. WILSON by Optiganally Yours. It was directed by (and stars) Dave Sheridan (known among many other things as the nunchuck-wielding mullet guy in "Ghost World") sometime around 1997 or thereabouts. It was mostly shot at a porn studio in Van Nuys, using actual curtains from Solid Gold and the very same vintage TV cameras they used to shoot the "Listen To The Flower People" segment in "This Is Spinal Tap." The outdoor footage was shot on 16mm film in San Diego, and features many of our local friends, including Matt Lorenz and his collections of Snouts (costumes). The "concert" footage was shot at The Casbah.
Since the original KZbin version of this video was uploaded way back when KZbin's native compression was really crappy, we decided to "remaster" the video and re-upload it. The only copy we have is on a VHS cassette, though, and the original video is meant to look lo-fi to begin with, so this is about as good as it gets!
We often get asked which "Mr. Wilson" we're referring to in this song. Pretty much any Mr. Wilson you can think of, including recent examples.
