Just finished 11 months - burned all FMLA left lob - to care for my mom in home hospice terminal lung cancer - she passed in March: also my 83 year old dad. Now just my dad - he has level 6 dementia... SLUMS 16 .. and my disabled 47 year old Bipolar Schizophrenic younger brother... ...anyways it has been very hard learning curve... I am / was an MLS .. but nothing in my woork nor traning prepared me for this. Your channel and videos like this from others I have subcribed to have helped more than you know. Thank you thank you thank you.

Do you think dealing with your brother has exuberated your father's condition? I think it's a big part of my mom's problem

I can't believe in 2024 we still don't have a simple way of putting people to sleep for surgery or other reasons. We invented Ether many years ago . I would hope for a device that you put on your head and nocks you out safely. The numbers of times i had to be anesthesia is Mind boggling and and i am only 50. Being one of early Fontane people born essentially with a frog heart 3 operations did really well but eventually started getting heart failure and luckily received a heart transplant on Easter Sunday exactly 24 years ago. I did well except started getting crazy Atrial Flutter Attacks 3 times put to sleep for cardioversion and a another for Ablation which didn't really work. I can't believe propfol ketemine is all they got

Thank you for some great tips... I live in London UK, my sister has Altzimers, and I think is in mid stage, can you give me any advice on Vitamine supplements, I know the hospital gave her 6 x 20000 Vitamine D3 capsuals after a blood test but her husband ( carer did not give them to her) would it be possible to give her 1x large dose pill of 20000pu per week when I go to see her. Plus any other advice on nutrient supplements, as she is really not getting the care she needs or deserves. Thanks in advance. ❤

Hi @PENcilitis The doctor and her medical care team are the best people to talk about supplements as each person and their situation is different.
