What a great discussion! I'm a 64 year-old male over-the-road truck driver listening to your podcast from my truck sleeper in Brush Colorado. I've been doing "dirty" carnivore for almost two years. About ten metabolic issues went away, but, I was having some gut issues, frequent heart palpitations and stalled weight loss. I went 100% carnivore 130 days ag6 after hearing you say that most of the benefits come after going strict carnivore. I cut out all artificial sweeteners, dairy products except butter, all plants and all caffeine. Since then my weight loss has slowly resumed, gut issues are gone and no more heart palpitations! I also love your views on economics. I have a master's degree in economics. My five favorite economists are Adam Smith, Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Art Laffer and Dwight Israelson- my favorite professor at Utah State University. Thanks for getting the word out!

I do drink coffee with half-and-half and a very tiny amount of sweetener. Other than that I don’t eat really anything but meat and eggs I’ve also lost about 20 pounds. I have about 15 more to go

I’m so grateful to you all for speaking out about all that’s going on in the world as well as how to eat a proper human diet! I listened while feeding one of my NICU preemies on night shift. Im also one of the majority of healthcare employees who’s eaten my way through my career of night shifts trying to figure out how to improve my own health to be an example. I was low carb, keto a year before the pandemic which pushed me to go carnivore when it was mandated I take the jab. I fought with my religious exemption and decided I was going to do everything I could to get and stay metabolically healthy and build up my God given immunity. Thanks to Dr. Berry, Dr. Baker and you, Dr.Chaffe I’ve stayed motivated and consistent in remaining carnivore and will eat this way the rest of my life! Literally a few hours earlier I gave a list of you tube carnivore MD’s to include you to one of my preemies’ mother who wanted to know what I do. It’s shocking how evil some elite politicians and billionaires like Gates, Soros have been planning and plotting to really destroy the planet. I can’t seem to figure out their end game because they, too are going to die one day. I’m so grateful to be able to listen to and be filled with rational perspectives and the truth from you all! 🙏🏼❤️

Critical thinking and logic have vanished. If you continue on the same path and things keep on getting worse, why not try something different? Makes complete sense, right? Watching and learning from all you fine doctors that think out of the box and genuinely want to help people I was finally convinced to go carnivore. Discovering the addictive effects of sugars , carbs, and processed food, how it affected my brain and emotions was the seismic awakening for me to switch to carnivore. I always thought that I was just weak and undisciplined while yoyo dieting for over 35 years. I appreciate what you have done for me and the human race! You have only just begun!

Sugar addiction is extremely dangerous as it starts in childhood now. I struggle with carb addiction despite all knowlege I have, carbs are powerful mood "pick me up" and they are everywhere and very inexpesive. Alcohol addiction has at least bad rap, but the alcohol industry is still thriving so I do not have high hopes for tackling sugar industrial influence in the near future. There is a hope for the future though, as people like you are doing great job. It took long time for smoking to be recognised as bad for health, so hopefully with sugar it will be the same eventually. And recommending the whole grains and fruits for weight loss is insane, being slightly overweight teenager in 80 ies tried to follow this and as a result I gained more weight (eating lots of apples made me fat, really!, they are good for you so I could eat 1kg in the afternoon) . I come from East Europe so in 80ies there was not as much of processed food and sugar compared to western diet at the time, we did not have even coca cola available until later, but eating as recommended by food piramide made me eventually carb addict and fat. Keep up with good work , guys 😀

In the book WATER:A Biography by Boccaletti, I learned that when droughts came or when rivers changed their courses, societies adapted their commerce. When there was lots of water, grains and other plants were grown in fields; when there was drought or rivers moved, the natural landscape returned and ruminants flourished, supplying fresh meat.

This was awesome! I only would’ve loved to hear more about the lies we’re told about the cancers, rotting meat, etc. that happens in our digestive systems. As an African-American, our community is rapidly moving towards a plant based and even raw plant based diet. We’ve been sold a bill of goods regarding our health and the various spiritual practices that we’re grasping on to (“back to the motherland”) are also pushing this way of eating. We’re signing our own death certificates. I would love to see a black identifying doc speak to this for our community.

When I went to buy an enclosure for 3 chickens at a local farm supply store, the salesperson told me an actual story he encountered: a lady asked him why the store sells these enclosures. He explained so people have fresh eggs and chicken if they want to. she said what do you mean- the grocery stores make them!!

India will never promote the consumption of beef, since cows are sacred to Hindus. In India, the health effects of the widespread vegetarian diets, such as heart disease and diabetes, are sometimes offset by ritual fasting and by the extensive knowledge of natural cures via the ancient medical protocols of Ayurveda. Other ruminant animals like goat, venison, and sheep (lamb) could furnish adequate dietary protein, but the introduction of GMO's and chemical fertilizers have dominated food production there, leading to crop failures and high suicide rates among farmers. Sadly the international organizations are divorced from considering healthy diets and sustainable soil. Their priorities are limiting human populations and following the dictates of wealthy plutocrats. It will be an uphill struggle to reverse this trend.

Good question! This is why we cannot allow government to disarm people. We have to be able to defend our right to survive. @kjlmailtime2 жыл бұрын
@@pranavanyoganathan8046 there's a difference between "nutrition isn't a political issue" and "nutrition shouldn't be a political issue". as long as it is, you can't win. your idea of winning the lobby game, or enacting laws to help even the field, etc. can't succeed. your only shot is to eliminate the problem.. ie, work to create a situation where "nutrition isn't a political issue". 200 years ago the prevailing sentiment was "imagine thinking religion isn't a political issue, lolz". the proper moral role of government does NOT include control over many areas.. religion is one. good job enlightenment! economics, medicine, nutrition, etc. are others. and there is no way to win until that is recognized.
@anthonychaffeemd2 жыл бұрын
@@kjlmailtime either way, it is a political issue. Not because we are making it one, but because others are. once again, you guys are correctly identifying the problem: sugar lobbyists are profitable, powerful, successful at influencing government laws, recommendations, regulations, etc. once again, you guys are incorrectly diagnosing the cause (and thus the cure): the proposed cause is the evil, profitable sugar industry .. so the proposed cure is more lobbying efforts for "our" team (to hopefully result in better laws for our agenda). wrong. the cause is that government is involved at all. the solution is laissez faire capitalism. until and unless you embrace that, you're in a MAD type of arms race. once again, there's a conflation between economic power and political power.
@kjlmailtime2 жыл бұрын
let me try an analogy that will hit home for you guys. you've just been diagnosed with diabetes. let's say that is analogous in our case to the lobbyist/government influence. the solution is to eliminate the carbs/lobbyist/government power over shit it doesn't belong in morally (such as diet/medicine). instead, you guys are suggesting to eat more carbs, but compensate by taking loads of insulin injections to "manage"... you guys see it so clearly wrt to nutrition as to how the mainstream paradigm is wrong. stop buying into the mainstream paradigm wrt to politics.. its equally as wrong, and in the same way..
