I usually only watch PVPers when I want something Elden Ring related playing in the background while I play. You’re actually pretty fun to listen to. I like how you present everything succinctly in the beginning AND you provide your own personal narration as your playing. Most people I see talk for 5 mins about the intimates of their build and then have 20 mins of them silently playing. You’re making lots of jokes and stuff which are actually fun to listen to, and you keep your positivity. You into it and you’re having fun but you aren’t TOO into it lol. Sick build! I do think you need 89 poise btw though. Testing with 88, I was getting staggered a ton by lots of attacks like rapiers, whips and other light weapons, but 89 just fixed it. Fashion is more important imo, but if you wanted to optimize it, 89 poise is the way to go.

you don't have to hard swap at all. I'd say just equip something with storm blade in your offhand so you can swap between horn calling storm and storm blade. Those are the two best parts of the build anyway

Palm Blast is so OP. Especially with the massive hyper-armor they gave it. I think the only way to stagger out of it is bleed or frost proc.

well first of all, do not panic roll. Just roll 1 attack properly and you have a window to heal for free. Same thing like playing against a boss

I actually found this bc i way running a very similar build with freyas and horned dual weild (not worth it, soooo much endurance with my armor) but me and my buddy were co-op and i actually got invaded by someone literally running horned and freyas with stormblade and i could not believe it i havent seen hardly anyone talking about it

I would replace the crimson amber medallion with fhe crimson seed talisman +1, 50 vigor in regular ng is good if you have sufficient scadutree Fragments and the crimson seed +1 gets rid of the health flask heal negation from the helmet

Yes very good in PvP. Me and my buddies can stagger chain 3 storm blade ash of wars in a way that is impossible for an invader to dodge. Very effective weapon!

I've had alot of problems with invading into high level jolly cooperators with full bull goat and dual colossus weapon endlessly attacking, maybe this is the weapon art that will finally get them the fug off me

@@MrSkillcap Unfortunately, it does not poise through colossals so you'll need to out-space and whiff punish them. It does do big damage so if you use it with good spacing you can certainly hit them all at once!

I wish the storm incant didn't require so much faith. It makes it hard to optimize the weapons and the spell on the same build because of that. I could dump all the points I have in dex into faith instead for the purpose of equipping the spell, but I would lose a lot of damage in exchange. Could be worth it if you prefer the faith defense buffs

@@JH-fd9xt on PC, I used cheat engine to make a character that has all items, including 999 upgrade stones and larval tears so I can make all these builds without needing to replay the game 25 different times. On this character, I also have 999 of each consumable to use - they typically help with 1v3 scenarios. On my PS5 characters, I usually will use the save reload strategy. I haven't tried duping yet, but maybe that's a better way to handle it.

But i've gotten every larval tear, and used them sparingly with saving my game file and trying the build first. @@freemaysin5088 I see things like this as more of a quality of life improvement for me. I make a lot of different builds and it helps save me time. I never use it to do anything that's actually cheating like adjusting stats or damage or something like that, just simply give me more items lol. I think on a first playthrough, it's nice to have limited items so you feel the joy of discovery when you loot things. Having unlimited items certainly detracts from that, but for the purpose of PvP build making - we really need an in-game vendor for more of these items. I see using CE as a way around this.

Only 16 faith requirement makes this the goat get off me invasion weapon. Edit I said 16 when I had the death knight twin axes on my mind haha. Also a good weapon for the chase down and you don’t sacrifice much throwing a little bit more faith in there.(18 for the bigger one)

Spamming moonveil in 2024 is so involved maidenless behaviour. There's a bunch of cool stuff that is new and way stronger with the dlc and these guys prefer to spam crap because a random KZbinr told them to. Life isn't made of L2s, there's no easy button, friend. Use all the buttons, use all potential that was given to you and evolve. Git gud is evolving, surpassing your past self. (Geez, I was not going to write so much. I just wanted to make fun of a moonveil spammer. I need to rest)

@@VonSchnitz Yeah? I was in co-op fighting an invader yesterday that was using storm caller on a halberd. Tanked a colossal sword jump heavy and my great katana jump heavy at the same time and was still swinging away killing us all lol. It was funny as heck, I was like "damn that ash is strong as hell". It's okay though, now that I know it's pretty much still impossible interrupt it normally in melee whether in invasions or co-op, I just gotta sit back and throw a frost pot or charge up something longer range and really nasty if they are gonna be static.

@@VonSchnitz Well, yes there's that, but also seeing a cool Ash of War like that storm caller used on a horde of enemies or a boss is waaaay cooler than just instakilling a few guys at a fog wall.
