Thanks for detailed tutorial, Why we don't use DataSmith instead of this process? p.s: it would be great if you make your display resolution smaller, most of menus are not readable.

I agree. DataSmith only suports Sketchup up to 2020 (at the time of writing this) but it works. The creator of this video doesn;t discuss how to quickly fix "normal" issues, and also doesn't show how this actually looks in Unreal Engine when the map is built and lighting applied. The video does still contain some valuable info on UV wrapping so thanks for that :)

I wanna ask. Is this method available for object like a room contains chair, desk and interior? The interior is already grouped

Thanks for the tutorial. Could you help me with something though? It's more of a unity question. So I drew a pretty big building in Sketchup with interiors, doors windows etc. Now I'm trying to implement a door opening script but the problem is that all the child meshes have the same one pivot point. What's the best way to give every child object it's own pivot point? I'd apreciate any tip, thanks in advance.

Eh..I hate sketchup for this reason. You made it look easy but how about sketchup to twinmotion then to unreal? Seems easier.
