You know there are great ones out there who have beaten bb in its current state on PC, lol. In a few months we will have it running at 4K/120fps. One of my favorite games ever will soon be playable on my preferred platform. PC community is awesome

I have a relatively low end PC (8GB RAM, i5, GTX 1650 Super, etc.) And even RPCS3 (a PS3 emulator) runs pretty poorly at the best of times, so I doubt a PS4 emulator will run any better

There's a decent chance that it'll run better for you in CPU limited scenarios, the CELL processor requires a lot of CPU power to emulate and that's not an issue here ​@@Choomba-j8u

​@DarkSouls2_Enjoyer it might run better than you think once it gets more stable. The Cell processor of the PS3 is super difficult to emulate. The PS4 is not Cell, the PS4 is x86, and your PC is x86. There's way, but WAY less layers of emulation compared to PS3

Game dev fun fact, the differing texture sizes depending on the type of texture is a performance measure. Starting from the Albedo, has all the color, is the full size, the normal map is half the size, and then all other textures are a quarter the size.

I tried your FPS boost mod on my PS4 slim, seemed to get near enough 60 fps in the hunters dream, elsewhere it was a lot more erratic but was mostly between like 40 and 50 fps

I have seen people running it on a 1060 at 30 fps in this current state. It looks like the ps4 emulator wont be that demanding as ps4's architecture is similar to a pc, especially compared to rpsc3 and how heavy it was for the PCs of that time when it was released. If you have a modern PC from the last 3-5 years, then I guess you should at least be able to play it.

another thing that might delay the remaster would be the multiplayer. is Sony going to run both the native PS4 version and the remaster together on the same servers, I could see this being a potential hang up. its probably difficult to keep an updated version working nicely with the original. they could run totally separate servers for the PS5 version but Sony rarely does that
