#hih A guy in league used one last week, it looked strong while he used it. He also doesn’t rip the cover off either. Medium speed/medium revs, but the ball seemed to work for him. Nice to see you back at it again sir!

From the reviews I've seen, Optimum Idol Pearl is pretty speed sensitive in relation to ball reaction. It still looks like a heck of a compliment to the Optimum Solid though!

Symmetric pearls aren’t for everybody. I like them if it’s medium dry-dry. I take that ball if it had a big asym in it. So I guess that would be the Exotic Gem.

Yeah I'm definitely going with the Scorpion Strike over this. Looked way better in that review. I can't stand balls that are that oil sensitive I can just see that over under coming. Synergy was my personal favorite Idol.

I know I'm in the minority but I've never been high on the Idol line up. The OG was a decent ball, but wven drilled pin way up, tried to hook way too early, lost a lot of energy by the time it hit the pins. I just never was a fan, even tried a little polish on it, just wasnt giving me a good look. I know most people love the original, it just doesnt match well for me.

LOL I see why you hate this ball. It forces you to close to the dry and the ball reads early. Move in and it just wants to arc after floating through the oil. Not the ball for you. Me on the other hand.🤔
