I really like the SS-32 is better in Robot mode due to it being more slender and articulated, but when it comes to vehicle mode, Battle Blades Optimus wins no contest

@@IaconDispatch I would even go as far and say they need to make him 9 inch, that way he would be in perfect scale with the Studio Series Deluxe cars.. We have no Prime that scales well with those vehicles (exceptfor the black mamba OS KO TLK voyager) and we really need one to scale thanks for the review!

Technically that is Battle Blades Optimus. Since the both the MPM and Battle Blades are based off the RotF Leader

Your customised AOE/TLK Optimus Prime looks amazing. Dr. Wu released an upgrade set, which consists of a larger sword and shield.

I love the RotF Voyager Optimus. Best one in my opinion in terms of playability and accuracy. And the alt mode scales really well with SS figures.

I honestly agree. The SS Optimus looks amazing in robot mode, but his truck mode is seriously lacking and does feel too small.

It's interesting that the ROTF Optimus came with the Matrix in his chest compartment when he didn't show that off until Dark of the Moon.

The Movie advanced Optimus mold still holds up so well. Hopefully we can see a modernized version of this mold in Voyager/small Leader scale in the future. It would be almost like a downscaled version of the Movie Masterpiece mold!

I am a HUGE fan of small scale OPs. Have almost all of the Legends scale Primes but now I am addicted to movie Voyager/Deluxe size OPs. Absolutely love all those voyagers you have, wish I had that 32. Do you happen to know about any new voyager or smaller movie Primes? Excellent video!

Thanks for watching! The most recent voyager class movie Primes are the ones from the studio series line. Aside from those, I’m not aware of any other official release. I suspect more will likely be coming sometime in the new year.

I have the Battle Blades one and it's amazing! The truck mode is very clean. I paired him with the DOTM Voyager Optimus' Trailer and he looks great. The trailer does not hook to the truck but the size is great and I displayed him with the trailer😃

A problem saw from ss32/44,, and after owning him after a whule is that they basically tried to scale the truck down but keep the robot mode the same. Basically truck: 80/100% and robot 98/100% in terms of size...so they can't hide any of the robot parts anywhere and or enlarged.

Great video my dude! I was just curious, since you know very well how to paint figures, do you know how to MOD them? Meaning you look at the in movie picture and you use different plastics to mold accurate pieces. Man thanks for comparing these Optimus prime. One more thing, which is your favorite Optimus Prime figure that is not included here?

Noah Easaw thanks for watching! I have made a few small mods to the plastic of some of my figures, but I’m very cautious about doing that. I prefer to buy upgrade parts or 3D printed stuff from Shapeways rather than try and carve things out myself. I just don’t have the time! Lol :) And my fav Optimus Primes that aren’t in this video would have to be MP-10 Prime and Tf:Prime First Edition Voyager Optimus.

Rodito Sevilla thanks! I mainly use Tamiya acrylic model paints. They are inexpensive and easy to work with. You can find them at most hobby shops as well as online. I also have a few videos on my channel about custom painting, if you’re interested in how I do these types of customizations. Cheers!

So the Prime on the far left was a repackaging/redeco of the ROTF Battle Blades Voyager Optimus they released as part of the DOTM line, and was part of a Walmart exclusive 2-pack that came with a deluxe class Autobot called ‘Comettor’. I had added a lot of custom silver paint to this figure, and removed some of the ‘space’ graphics that came applied to his chest windows. The Prime on the far right is actually a KO version of the Takara Tomy ‘Movie The Best’ Voyager ‘Revenge’ Optimus. Hope this helps!

I know that there's an upgrade kit for SS optimus where he would get longer smokestacks. Does that give the 'umph' that it needs? Even though it doesn't really all that much.

Studio Series Prime had really grown on me since I made this video, and the upgrade kits that are available for him definitely make him a lot better. Plus, I hear that Toyhax is making a label set for him, which I think will make him in to the best “Bayverse” movie voyager Prime.

@@IaconDispatch i agree. The studio series optimus especially studio series 44 is pretty cool. Its not as cool as battle blades but the studio series has so much playability. So not sure which one. Either accuracy or playability. edit: also another problem he is smaller than the SS 38 optimus.

Sparky being an older figure, he will be pretty tough to find at this point. Your best bet would be eBay, or post a message on some TF forums like Seibertron.com or allspark.com and see if anyone has one they’d sell you. Or check transformerland.com as another option.

Sparky they have pretty much every color, but they don’t always match the plastics 100%, so sometimes you need to mix and blend to get the perfect color match.

The second one in line from the left is the Voyager class Optimus Prime from The Last Knight movie toy line. I’ve added some custom silver paint to it, and a set of Toyhax upgrade stickers to make it look like that. 👍🏼
