I love how Jim talks but also just... listens, and poses questions, reveals sheer interest in hearing other people. I know that’s just common decency but I feel it’s very rare nowadays for people to just LISTEN to each other. This supposedly is a Jim O’Rourke interview but in a matter of a few first minutes he just transformed it into this wonderful balanced and human exchange between two people very dear to each other! He really is just such a dynamic conversationalist and clearly an empathic soul. This was lovely, thank you to everyone who facilitated and made this possible.

This was incredibly interesting. Fascinating life he’s led, and the name dropping has given me a lot to work with for discovering new music. Thank you.

Thanks for this. Jim is always an inspiration, both as an artist and as a down to earth conversationalist.

Such an informative and illuminating conversation. I wish I was a little older during the late 80’s/‘90’s in Chicago. Learning so much of the truly adventurous players in Chicago

Love Liza brought me here but the soundtrack which is beautiful is not on yt. I learned to be disappointed by stuff I cant get. Memory is such strange thing, without it we don’t know who we are, with it can be beautiful or damming.
