Jim sold his guitar amp for ECM cut outs. I love it.

Great interview! Like them talking about local record shops ! I live in the north east of England and the only shop that stocked music I like ( whitehouse , nurse with wound, current 93, death pile, prurient ) closed 10 years or more back it was called alt vinyl ! Now it costs a small fortune buying music online from all over the world ! Import is the main problem since England is no longer in Europe!

Excellent interview! Was stoked to hear Jim talk about FennO'berg. Please bring him back and ask about playing shows with Flying Saucer Attack

I think he means Oak Park not Park Ridge and that would be Frank Lloyd Wright he's talking about. Val's Halla was a great shop back then.

Funny the comment about CDs. I'm seeing them come back. Particularly with younger, kind of on trend hard techno prodcuers, particularly with cyberpunk and y2k aesthetics. But also more genrally as people cant be bothered with vinyl more and more

@@morrisman it seems to be a social convention of people from boston and chicago to painstakingly describe which specific parts of the of geography they are from and where they have been and when and for what reason
