okay, I tested the the -1 arms in the front with no spacer under the ball stud and I really liked it. It gave the car more steering, but it wasn't crazy hard to drive.

I can answer why the -1 arms on front with the spacer caused the car to seem not to have as much steering. Anytime the center line of the tire is farther away from the kingpins centerline it increases the scrub radius.

A spacer under the hub will increase your toll centre, so not recommended to do this to adjust track width. I tried the - 1mm arms, they work Ed incredibly well in low traction. I combined it with the short top links using the optional two hole alloy camber link inside plates. I would go so far as to say that this setup should be used on all low grip conditions

Very good info. Did you run the -1 arms in the front and the rear? I might try taking the spacer out from under the rear hubs and maybe use the wider rear hexes to get the track width back. Or just maybe try hex spacers for the rear.....
@superstock92617 ай бұрын
@@FullSendRC804 no just front as it was a very tight asphalt track with a painted surface called boral coat. Benefit with the short arms is it keeps everything at the same geometry. Xray use narrow hex hubs for example and it mucks up the geometry causing excessing tyre wear. Maybe go barrow front and rear and raise the rear hub by 0.5mm or go slightly higher shims on the rear top inside links for better rotation.

@@superstock9261 Funny that you mention that about the rear upper shims. I am running 0.75 higher in the rear now.

As I understand, adding sims under the hub take away traction?
@FullSendRC8045 ай бұрын
Correct, it changes our track width too, and also effects the up travel settings.

Hello, I'm wondering if the air duct between the fan and the engine will create a noticeable temperature difference. If you have measured it, can you tell me the temperature difference?
@FullSendRC8047 ай бұрын
I have never measured the difference of the motor with or without the fan shroud. I think it does put more direct air to the motor and less air being lost with using just the fan by itself.

@@FullSendRC804 ah yes Uncle Billy, I've had a few conversations with him. I'm excited to meet the legend in person. I've heard countless stories. I'm sure he will be incredibly fast with a dialed setup no doubt.

Maybe, he is at our local track today and will be there Sunday as well. I have to work all weekend or else I would be too.
