ITM options premiums are expensive and have fast price movement compared to otm options which are slow in movement in sidways market and cheap. But when the market is trending strongly otm can yield good profits at a very low risk. I've seen premiums go from 12 to 200 in 2 or 3 minutes when the market is in a very strong trend.
