I found an easier way to put the wheel back on. I screwed loosely only one of the 3 mount's screws on the wheel, which gives the wheel a lot of wiggle room to slide into place. then when the mount is also in place, I proceeded to fasten the 2 remaining screws. Took me a minute.

thanks for this was able to replace mine in 30mins. The highlight where you can lift up the mounting for the lamp. I also pulled up on the metal part where the colorwheel goes to get the wheel in easier.

I have an Optoma HD 142X projector and replaced the bulb and color wheel (multiple times to make sure it was sitting correctly and thanks to your video) but after I did I keep getting this shadow on the top of the screen. I made my profile pic the picture of what I see. It looks like something is in front of the light source. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, While replacing my color wheel i seem to have broken the clip for the ribbon cable any idea how i would go about finding a replacement part or fixing it myself. I have no idea where the bit of plastic has gone so would either need a repair with a new one i could buy or alternate items. Any help would be great thank you.
