Can this detect glaucoma in a blind eye? I woke up blind in one eye a year ago and eye doctors dont know exactly what caused it. I had many test except for dilation which they said was dangerous to do incase i have glaucoma. I think they did this test. If they did do this test would it detect glaucoma in my eye that i can see out of? Im worried im gonna go blind in my other eye lol. I also went to the ER the morning it happened. Got a head CT scan and blood drawn and said all was good. My heart or stroke didnt cause it. I haven't been back to the eye doctor since it happened last May due to insurance problems. If it were due to blood sugar or blood pressure spikes, wouldn't that have took out both eyes? Thanks for reading 🙂

I know that it has been a year since you posted this and I hope you have got an answer since then. But yes, if you can get this test done it should be able to detect glaucoma. If you cannot get this done you can also get a pressure test done which can test the pressure of your eye to see if you may have glaucoma.
