Thanks this really helped. I cleaned my pen and disassembled it and that ring was on the counter and I had no idea where it went. 👍🏽🙏🏽👍🏽 I think I’ll put a parallel nib in when I’m ready to change ink to use it up.

I put my ink directly into the barrel of the Pilot pen. It doesn't leak and holds a lot of ink.

Hi I was curious if you have ever used the parallels as a dip pen with India inks . And you experience si you had with cleaning consistent flow, kinks in the ink(ink blobs)?

We often use the Parallel pen as a dip pen, or combine a coloured cartridge (fountain pen ink) and dipping (either fountain pen ink or thicker drawing/calligraphy ink) to create unique colour combinations. Perhaps the dip technique will work better for the type of ink you are using.

We should have kept better notes - we're not sure, sorry! We think it may have been a mix of Ecoline inks, not any one colour.

The Demonstrator works, as shown in the video. At the time, we tried their other pens, and it didn't work with any of the others, but that was before the Omar arrived, so we haven't tested that one yet.

Isn't Opus88 a rather expensive pen?! It all sounds great and I'd love to have this setup, but Opus pen is just too much $$$...

Well, it's mid-range for some, top range for me and beyond range for you, and I can totally relate. Have a look at the $4 hyl eyedropper on Ali Express. Works nicely too.

@@enlightenment00 @bryanchabolla195 just a clone of a Moonman M2 I once bumped into. Since then I also found the eggy Majohn Q1 takes pilot parallel nibs, if you feel comfortable with their shape (I don't), so maybe a few other Moonman/Majohn #6 pens will, but I have not bothered to test. drop me a line if that interests you and I'll try.
