A prayer-song created during a time when we, as a people, are mending fractures and divisions among us. We ask the Holy One to shine a new light on us-the light of redemption. We request peace and tranquility to live here together in unconditional love and unity, together with all the inhabitants of the land.

About Zamru
Zamru is an annual peer program powering experiential, creative, and inquisitive exploration of prayer. The program investigates the role of prayer in our lives, within our community, and in the Jewish-Israeli rituals of the 21st century. Aiming to cultivate a community of prayer leaders who are committed to creating and maintaining spaces and language for contemporary Jewish prayer both including and beyond traditional forms, the program’s approach is rooted in Jewish legacies while engaging in an open, respectful, and fruitful dialogue with the world. Zamru is a project of Sha’arei Bracha: A Laboratory for Jewish Ritual Innovation at the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center. The 2024 Zamru Summit, a global gathering of Israeli and North American music and prayer leaders was sponsored by the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center in partnership with the Cantors’ Assembly, JNF, the Jewish Agency, the Shirley and William Fleischer Family Foundation, and private donors.
