One little thing I just noticed watching this for the hundredth time: When Reacher jumps off his bunk, he slowly unfurls himself to his full height. He looked big, then he got even bigger, and then he was huge. That's subtle, but great acting.

This old lady was very pleasantly surprised by the elbow move. It makes perfect sense. Fists/knuckles can be injured when you hit with sufficient force to bring someone down. The elbow is not so vulnetable. I rewatched, then tried it on my padded bunkbed ladder. You can hit really hard and fast. Nice!
@thecasualhawk7 ай бұрын
In a real fight you're actually MUCH better off using palms, elbows and knees. Elbows can also hit much harder as you can amass a much greater force because you're only pulling ish half the weight of your arm at the same time as you can put more of your bodyweight into it. Not only that, but an elbow IS much faster.. The only downside is you need to get in real close.
