But now again I installed Oracle 21c and try to create new connection in SQL Devloper but the new connection Button(+symbol) is not working and same to 'Create manually'. Thanks for your effort. I've successfully installed and did some queries and basic operation as I'm an absolute beginner. After a while I exit sql developer and again reopen sql developer. I tried to open hr and system schema it asked for username and password. So i put but it says "TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor". I tried to change the host from localhost to the host got in tns file under admin folder but yet it showing "TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor". Now I uninstalled everything and reinstalling but my question is once I exit how can I get back to sql developer that will not cause the error "TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor". I saw one of your vidoes in sql playlist and did so but yet getting this error.

Hello again. Steve here. OK... so... I uninstalled Oracle and REinstalled Oracle 12c successfully with NO errors. I already had SQL Developer installed on my machine. I opened SQL Developer and tried to add as you did in the video, "SYSTEM_ADMIN" for the username: system, and pw: admin, I added the Service Name as: XEPDB1, clicked on Test and got an error stating that the network adapter could not establish a connection. Any help on this would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you... Steve

Yes, If you want to load the data in same oracle database then create core schema. If you want to load data to any other data base like SQL server or MySQL then create a connection and load.

"solution is" = step 1 - go to system db and type querry - create user "your connection name" identified by 'your password name'; grant dba to 'your connection name' ; step 2- set host name as ip address and ip address is found in this path C:\app\'your pc name'\product\21c\homes\OraDB21Home1 etwork\admin\listener.ora step 3 - service name = XEPDB1 -(for the 21c ) and for 11g its XE step4 - click test step5- connect
