This felt like a completely new rando compared to your usual ones. Very refreshing! Apart from the added checks, I think not having cross-items had a pretty big impact. I saw it as a "scarce item pool" setting. Very cool rando!

6:58 Looks to me like the freestanding items are still using the chest type item-get rather than freestanding. Could be because you might need to set up a brand new object that deletes itself when you get the item. Just started watching, so im excited to see other changes! I've always wanted to see a rando with freestanding items shuffled in.

I was honestly expecting spring, because that would have prevented the softlock from going into Eastern Suburbs. ...Ah, wait, you still haven't done Blaino at this point and 10 Rupees is far easier to get via farming than 150. 59:37 ...Okay yeah it seems like the logic legitimately wanted you to go to Eastern Suburbs with no way back other than tree warp. I really thought that the answer was going to be "Blaino was in logic because you can farm rupees by killing enemies with Ricky". But unless Gasha Piece of Heart or Maple Piece of Heart were in the pool, it seems the logic truly was borked. 1:44:30 That's... almost a vanilla outcome? Furnace leading to Smithy and all that.

Apparantly in this version "risky" plays are in logic if you have tree warp on which I'm not a big fan of but I can see why it might be the case.

so when you were in D3 you picked up the compass first thing (1:29:50) but the key jingle doesn't play (1:30:58) so that's probably a bug?

So is Archipelago for 2 player multiworlds where you send items to another person or does it let you randomize 2 games together, like having both Oracle games in one randomizer with travel back and forth between them? Or maybe both?

it's the former. With Archipelago, you are not restricted to just oracle games being able to send items to each other, but can send items between a whole host of different games.

I just had a thought; so the sign ring auto-jumpscares you when you break a buncha signs, right? If you did a randomizer, got the level 2+ sword, and opened the door to the tree while the cutscene had you spin attack break the sign that would summon the ring... What happens? Cutscene storage? :3

you have to talk to the subrosian in the house by the furnace to get the ring once you've broken 100 signs, so nothing would happen in that instance.

i wonder how to use archiepelago to randomize oracle of seasons, i would love to try some seeds on the new rando, especially free standing gasha seeds/heart pieces are now shuffled can you explain where and how to randomize it? is it a website where you randomize and patch the original rom?

ahhh okay! the only thing i struggle with right now is what am i suppose to do with the yaml file now? how to generate a seed out of it? the archipelago website says this game doesnt exist therefore cant generate a seed out of it@@mashystrr

Not in the archipelago version currently, but it is still in active development so who knows what might come soon
