Oracle of Seasons Randomizer ~ Sour patch kids

With the release of linked items, I decided to try my hands at Seasons only to find the seed being sour to me, then being sweet.

Linked items are now supported including the master sword, mirror shield, 99 seed satchel, and biggoron's sword. Bombchus are not added due to item limits when combined with cross items and due to their lack of uses.
Maple can now drop a randomized item. Since it can be difficult to spawn Maple and then beat her to picking up the item, it is only logical with a way to infinitely kill enemies, something to swing in case the item drops over a tile you can walk on, and pegasus seed satchel to help race her to the item.

Yes although i got a tarm locked gale seeds start. Do you know if bombachu are also gone? To help with the blaino softlock possibility? Nvr mind i actually watched the vid now

Now that Maple is relevant it'd be cute to have it randomized whether she shows up on broom, on the vacuum or in the UFO. Then because of the speed boost it could be you need Pegasus Seeds or a Boomerang to logically aquire a UFO Maple item. That's one way the randomizer could have her check be later in the run.

nah master sword is definitely available since it is only obtainable via a linked game and since linked items adds all the linked game exclusive items to the pool that also includes the master sword and even mirror shield

Hoi Mashy! Do you have ( or know a good) tutorial on how to set this up, which emulator is best for it etc? Tricks that are useful and stuff for rhe rando, i would watch the hecc outta that lol

I can't tell if my post got deleted, welp. Here I go again. I'm not mashy but I've tried the randomizer myself. I recommend using MGBA, it worked for me with no issues. And for the other thing, well, if I mentioned that it'd probably get my post deleted again.

Does the OOS randomizer not have a "warp to start" like your OOA randomizer? I feel like that would resolve the softlock issue.

It does, but there has been a gentleman's agreement not to use it during races, so to simulate a race scenario, I try not to use it at all.

I know. I was playing a NSO seasons vanilla playthrough and when I learned from the rando playthrough I was watching that it does so much damage I was like "Link you threw out the best or second best weapon just because you got your feather back. You are a fool."

Hm, given the inventory space constraints now that linked items are in... I wonder if the randomisers should work on removing the fool's ore. It's funny to have something that outdamages the Master Sword when you only go up to the Noble Sword, it's a bit more awkward to have the MS and Biggoron Sword outdamaged by something that was never meant to leave one area of Subrosia, especially with nearly-full inventory. I think the base damage is something like 2-3-5 (L1, L2, L3/Biggoron) and the Fool's Ore is 6--so it's like having the L2 sword and Red Ring.

If Gasha Seeds were part of the randomization, I imagine they'd be modified to work like Maple or the chest game in LTTP. You'd only have to do it one time since the drop would be guaranteed on the first attempt.
