Oracle of Ages Randomizer ~ Linked items exist!!

A new fork of the randomizer created by karafruit has been released which has some nice, new features. A couple of those features were shown off including linked items, Maple's item, and alternate sprite support.

Linked items are now supported including the master sword, mirror shield, 99 seed satchel, and biggoron's sword. Bombchus are not added due to item limits when combined with cross items and due to their lack of uses.
Maple can now drop a randomized item. Since it can be difficult to spawn Maple and then beat her to picking up the item, it is only logical with a way to infinitely kill enemies, something to swing in case the item drops over a tile you can walk on, and pegasus seed satchel to help race her to the item.

Tokay Island included in Randomizer? Well that would certainly be awful to code, but hilarious to see. Imagine, all you need is to do D3, and you have almost all the items... just to lose them and be forced to do everything on that shitty island

Linked items is one of the big updates I've really wanted to see in these runs. The only other big thing I'd like to see is possibly too ambitious, a multiworld with both Holodrum and Labrynna in the same seed. With a portal by the Maku Tree to travel between them and if possible Gale Seed transport between the two maps for convenience.

Technically King Zora didn't require Scent Seedless Target Kart, as Maple does have the chance to drop potions, so that may have been the logic choice the game wanted. As for linked items now being a thing, having the extra sword, satchel, bombs and shield in the item pool will be good for consistency across seeds. More sprite support is also going to be a wonderful addition to the randomizer and I'm very excited to see more in the future

maple's potion is never in logic in normal mode. you will always need the graveyard key. also, i'm not sure if the changes to allow maple to drop an item affected whether or not she can have a potion.

To be fair, it's not like the Tokay straight-up mug Link for his gear in the regular game. His raft gets destroyed on the way to Crescent Island, and they take his stuff while he's unconscious. They're still thieves, just not thugs XD

So were bombchus not in the item pool too? And if so, what happens if you got those and the magnet gloves? Wouldn't you run out of inventory space?

Squished sprite is possibly from the funny joke in the trading sequence. The four Gameboy/Advence titles are definitely among the best Zelda games. Awakening in particular is a really strong example of quality over quantity. If I were gonna do a ranking of the entire series I'd put all four of them above any of the 3D entries except Ocarina, Majora and maybe Tears. Though to be fair I adore all of them. It's one of only a couple of series (Mario comes to mind too) where even the relatively weak links (heh) are better than most other games. Hell, there are major series that don't even get close in quality to the low end.

Been loving these randomizers. It'd be sick if they made a cross over version kinda like the oot/mm rando. Have the warp be the inside of the deku tree or something.

1st time seeing a ages or sseasons rando. My question is, are there tourneys where others compete the same seed at same time to see who can beat it 1st like with Zelda 1, Zelda 2 and Zelda Link to the Past?

You're looking at it. There's a weekly rando of ages (Saturday?) and seasons (Sunday?). Usually between 1-3 ppl playing, @mashy and @Lotus_RT are among the most common ones.

some of the trackers haven't been updated in a while so they don't currently have cross item support. there is also another new tracker in the works that will have linked item support.
