Years ago I purchased the Water-Pik brush and was highly disappointed and turned off to ALL electric brushes. Then this year, we decided to try the Genius 9000. OMG!! This is a game-changer! This has become my favorite toy and I am brushing and polishing 3-4 times a day. It does an outstanding, brilliant job. Throw away your manual toothbrushes.

God! Why can't they do a simple type-c or micro usb charging? Unique proprietary connectors "don't even try to loose it" and mess of wires at home :(

I thought the 9000 travel case included a battery, so you could "wirelessly" charge your brush. After x recharges, you would connect the case to an outlet and charge the case. But after seeing your video, it seems you have to connect this case to an outlet when wanting to charge, correct?

It is correct, the case does not include a battery, you need to connect it to an outlet.

Can the brush also be charged by the usb connection instead of the power connection? I'm looking for a brush I can charge at 12V in my campervan.

No it can't sadly. The USB port is passthrough power only. You should look at brushes like the Sonicare DiamondClean Smart. You could also consider, the much more cost effective Colgate ProClinical Pocket-Pro.

+Rydal1 the case supports 110-240v. Not aware of different cables, there may well be an option but easiest is probably an adapter.

Ronak. We are aware of the Fairwill 5 mode brush and have plans to review it in the future, but it will be some time before we get to review this brush, based on other content and videos we have coming first.

It will fit and work yes. It's not a perfect fit but good enough that the brush will charge in the case.

Abdul, At £75 its a great buy. If you can afford it then I would pick it up. Whilst most still don't need all the features it offers, you are getting some nice additions for very little extra over a basic brush.

i just bought the 9000 model for use here in the United States. I take it this model is ONLY 220-240 V and it not world voltage (US is 120V) so I need to get a STEP up style converter correct? do you recommend one I can use?

hahaa very safe response! I have a step up /down converter from Simran that I use with a piece of gear I purchased from EU. The Simran brand is Japanese made and is of top quality. Just wanted to post this in case any one else was considering getting this for use in the US/other areas. In the US the 8000 oral b model is only avail but and its unclear if P&G will make a US version of the 9000. I wanted the top of the line and im impatient.. :) PLUS due to currency conversions currently, this model is actually LESS than the 8000 US model! Thank you for your video and unboxing. I am a long time oral b user and I have this model's predecessor and im getting this mainly for the camera thingy gimmick. :)

As far as I'm aware, the charger itself is the same across all of the models, so it might be best to just buy a US Oral B charger. Check the output rating to be sure

Ronak. The brush head size is good. But the features are a bit much really for a 9 year old. Look at the Oral-B Pro 2 2500. Great choice.

No it will not. However, there is an American (US) version of the Genius 9000, its called the Oral-B Genus Pro 8000. The Genius Pro 8000 has a 2 pin US plug.

Laura. If you mean an adapter for the 2 pin charger to fit into the 3 pin UK power supply then yes, you can buy these. These 2 to 3 pin adapters are usually less than £5. However, the charging stand provided has a 2 pin plug to fit into the power socket (shaver socket) found in most bathrooms in the UK. Not all bathrooms do have a shaver socket (mine included) so a 2 to 3 pin adapter will need to be purchased separately.
