I use both, sonicare in the am with the premium gum care brush head and iO in the evening with the sensitive brush head.

in uk the best value is to get io7 with 4 extra ultra clean heads for 165£. I prefer io7 over io6 because of the 3h charging time instead of 12-16h on io6 and i prefer the smaller round head on io series than the more traditional sonicare shape. also the spinning head on io series to me personally feels like it does a better job at removing small things in between teeth

im looking the fancy one but less noisy please ? I like how oral b look like
@ElectricTeeth3 ай бұрын
The iO Series are the quietest Oral-B models. The iO3 is the entry level (cheapest) iO brush with a maximum noise of 64 decibels.

Like that you recommend a cheaper Pro 1500 for an overall pick, but still made this video comparing more premium options. Well done.

so Oral-b or Philips is the most comfortable to use? You need to do additional movements using Philips? I heard Braun doesn't need additional movements from the user side than moving forward.
@ElectricTeeth5 күн бұрын
Comfort is subjective. But, as a general rule, Sonicare is softer and more gentle feeling, whilst giving a good clean and feels nicer for many. Philips Sonicare themselves suggest no additional movements are needed, but our in-house dental professionals generally recommend using small circular motions in addition to moving from tooth to tooth with the Sonicare.

Great video, Jon! 👍 😊 Just a heads up-- the links to the IO6 & the Sonicare 9900 are reversed. The one for the IO3 is correct, though.

Sonicare diamondclean 9000 is on sale here at 50% off and so is the oral b IO 7G. The oral b is 15$ more. Wich one is the best one ?
@ElectricTeeth2 ай бұрын
It's personal preference. Both clean the teeth comparably really. I would probably pick the iO if you want smart/app features, the tracking it offers is better than the DiamondClean 9000.

@@ElectricTeeth And what about the extra sensitive mode? I have some sensitive teeth to cold foods

For most people, the normal sensitive mode, paired with a soft bristled brush head is fine.

@@ElectricTeeth Thanks.. I can also ask - you think that water flosser and floss is important to get? or thats okay to only brushing with some quality toothbrush?
@ElectricTeeth4 ай бұрын
Toothbrushing alone is not enough. As a rough guide you are missing 40% of the tooth surface by brushing alone. Therefore you need to floss. Ideally with interdental brushes or string floss, but a water flosser is a viable alternative if you can't get on with the others.

Hi I’m looking at the sonicare 7900 on Amazon is it a good brush or should I go for something like the 9400?

It is a good brush. It cleans the teeth as well as the 9400. The 9400 has more features that might be of interest to you.

Yes, from an overall cleaning perspective, it can achieve comparable results. There are of course pro's and con's to each Burst model when comparing to Oral-B or Sonicare models.

Is there a best overall brush for sonicare or should I just buy the io 6, (that also has app pairing) i saw that you like the 4100 from sonicare from another vid but that doesn’t have the app features.
@ElectricTeeth2 ай бұрын
If you specifically want the 'smart' or 'app features then the best from Sonicare is the Prestige 9900. This is very expensive. There are more affordable DIamondClean Smart models like the 9700/9750 that are a bit cheaper normally.

Thanks for comparing 😊 I’m living in Turkey and here sonicare 9000 is 100 euro around and oral b io5 is 80 euro. I’m confused which one will be better for me.
@ElectricTeeth2 ай бұрын
There really isn't much difference in price. Consider the cost of brush heads in Turkey, but I imagine they will be similar. The 9000 probably has the slight edge.

It really depends on each model, but as Jon said you don't necessarily need a top brush to get good cleaning results, just make sure you are brushing for the correct amount of time and use the correct technique.
