Three years ago I commented on the beauty of this film, and I'm back to say it remains one of the best videos of orangutans I've ever seen, set to one of my favorite classical pieces. Brings tears to my eyes. Outstanding!

This video was one of the first i posted, i made it from footage i had from long ago, and i remember i was positively surprised to have 100 views the first week 😊 . I am flying to south east asia end of this week for the first time since 3 years now, hope I will come back with some new nice images .

Every time I see an orangutan especially babies it just brings such joy. I love all apes but these gentle lovely creatures are my favorite but they are wild an incredibly strong so as cute as they are they are not pets. As a critically endangered species they need to be taken care of as they are a gift

Hi Patrick, you make the most beautiful videos. Outstanding. Wow! This is for sure one of the best videos I have seen with Orang Utans. The way you pictured them, combined with the beautiful music, one can feel the majesty and the soul of these amazing animals. . Would you share which camera you are using and which cutter software? Did you use filters? As the colours are so bright. Thank you for sharing your beautiful videos.. You did a great job.

For the technical part, it was a video camera Canon HV20, and now I have a Sony AX53 for 4k footage (the last orangutans videos on my channel) for the software part it is Magix video deluxe premium and no filter, that's a good camera with a fantastic stabilizer. voila :-)

Hello Erica, the sound is natural it is the ambient sound we hear in the equatorial forest , it comes from cicadas, it can be very strong and impressive sometime :-)

There is the beautiful piano thru out the video, but there is also some horrible high-pitched noise thru out as well.

That's this impressive ambient sounds you can hear in tropical forests of Malaysia, mainly cicadas.I made the choice to keep it on the soundtrack, but minimized, maybe not enough :-)

Hello, I know , I got several times this remark, that's the ambient sounds you can hear in tropical forests of Malaysia, mainly cicadas.I made the choice to keep it on the soundtrack, but minimized, maybe not enough 😉 . That was my first video with orangutans, please check the latest ones, they sound much better 😊⚘
