I used RT600 to glue my tiles back. Most of mine were slid down and inch or two. I just glued them on the sides after pushing them back up, but I like where you glue them better. My roof is 25 years old and doesn't leak. Just tile problems, like slipping or cracking.

What are other products to fix the loose / slided roof tiles?
@SouthCountyRoofing Жыл бұрын
Any polyether-based sealant or tile secure caulking.

what type of calking should I use?
@SouthCountyRoofing6 жыл бұрын
any polyether based caulk is what I use. We use a lot of chemlink products. Specifically I would recommend Chemlink / Novalink 35 which is a polyether and elastomeric based sealant for damp, dry, and wet climates/

so what would you charge for replace tiles and install?
@kaitlynchristensen5432 Жыл бұрын
It's usually a minimum charge for a small job for this. Depending on who you hire it could be around a couple hundred bucks.

@@SouthCountyRoofing thanks so much - I have being going over a bit of a bodged job someone else has done! Do you have any tips/videos for finding loose tiles? My UK new build (2005) had nails in all tiles. Veluxes were fitted and nails were not put back in a LOT of the tiles. Three have so far slipped (two hit the road below!)! I am not happy with the tradie and am not calling them back. Any advice or pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated!
