Best of all the interactive Gain and Blend controls are primed for creating enormous ‘bi-amped’-style tones. You can even switch these tones via an optional footswitch for added control. A buffered effects loop, integrated tuner and headphone input are all handy features.

We just bought one, tried it out with a Fender made in Japan 70’s Jazz bass and istg I got Cliff Burton tones out of this thing, as in Day On The Green type distortion tones, I highly recommend this amp for bassists on a budget, it sounds so cool clean and dirty.

Vox cheaps out on their amps. A new Vox that is good, you really gotta shell out some coin. Be careful with vox. Orange seems to have a good grip on proper bass tech

I purchased the Glenn Hughes signature version. I was absolutely gutted when I lifted out of the box and the handle snapped on one side. Then I saw the made in China sticker and returned it immediately! Sounded thin to, shockingly thin, I have a Spark practice amp it absolutely blinds it!

I live in an apartment with paper thin walls so in order to practice with any kind of volume I would be transporting it back and forth to a buddies place. The sound you get compared to the size and weight Is very impressive but take that with a grain of 🧂 salt, I’ve never owned a Bass 🎸 amp and always played on old cheap guitar speakers my friends loaned just to make noise. Huge difference 🌙 ☀️ I don’t plan on quitting my day job to be a rockstar, just hope to be good enough to be able to Jam at a house party or a dive bar one day. And until I get a bigger space this is the Goldilocks of amps for size, price, sound, weight. Just Right

I can't say for sure since I don't own it, but I don't see why it wouldn't be able to, as its a well made and good quality amp. It's usually the cheaper ones you have to worry about

I know it's been 3 months but I'll reply just in case. I play this amp, the bass butler and a schecter omen 5 and I have no problems with the b string. It can at times sound muddy or even as if the low b is under water but the bass butler has a built in compressor which solves that issue, should you experience it. So basically, I'd get a compressor anyway but you may not have to.

I'm a guitar player who uses the Orange 35WRT and it's perfect for rehearsals and gigs. But I landed up playing bass recently and looking for an amp and I want to stay in the Orange family. So if the 35WRT does the job great then I would think the 50 bass would also.

Foot switch is Orange FS1 or FS1 mini. Both do the same thing, mini is just a smaller package & a little cheaper. Wish the mini was available when I bought my FS1 (to go with a Crush Bass 50).

It's too "muddy" for guitar. But you play waaay dropped tuning it'd be fine.

If you really wanted to use this for guitar I would use it as a clean platform since you have such precise control over the EQ. Slam a preamp or fuzz pedal into the front.

You can play guitars through bass amps just fine, other way round is dangerous to your speaker. However i don't think it would sound how a guitar should unless you are chasing a very particular tone

These are fantastic. The 100 s made a bit more niche by being a 1x15, but these have a great range and response. But no DI out is inexcusable these days and makes it way less usable. Gatekeeping a DI out to the 100 really just makes me not want to buy either tbh. The crushes are cool… the fender rumbles are just better tbh

@@demolitionman5782 Kujo.... My mistake.. The 50 is a Wonderful amp. The 25 is for bedroom use only IMHO. Will the 50 go up against a "Hey look at me!" Drummer? No. But if your drummer is courteous and uses those "Hot Rods" (a cross between sticks and brushes) you'll be quite pleased. Just keep the volume levels reasonable and you'll be very happy. 🍊
