Monteverde Mandarin Orange has been my favorite orange ink for a long time! I've had good results with Monteverde inks in general and I find their 30 ml bottles to be a very convenient size.

Love orange! And love your picks! Of the ones you chose I really like Hearty Harvest. My top oranges are: 1) Pilot Iroshizhuku Fuyu Gaki (has the most beautiful peachy undertone) 2) TMI Mango (really looks like mango to me!) 3) Kaweco Sunrise orange (just the perfect orange- orange ..imo) 4) Dominant Industy Earl Grey Tea (a deeper orange with beautiful shading) 5) Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake...I don't actually like this one all that much. It just kinda falls flat in comparison to the other four I mentioned, but it is the last orange ink I have so I guess it makes it to top 5 by default lol

L’artisan Pastellier has an Orange scented ink called.. Orange. It’s my first orange and though I’m not typically a fan of that colour in inks, I tried it because I was curious about the scent. Got a full bottle from Vanness Pen Shop. It’s nice but the scent isn’t long lasting much like the J Herbin scented ones.

Orange is one of my favorite colors. I even found myself defending the "negative" associations with orange ( like maybe I wouldn't be impatient if you hurried up. Lol)

Hey there! Noodler's Habernaro is my favorite, I think of it as a slightly darker Southwest Sunset. I have and like Southwest Sunset as well, however it is just too light to be practical in many of my pens. Habernaro definitely has some extreme variation from pen to pen and paper to paper, as Southwest Sunset does, but I never find it hard to read. Great question though! it has been awhile since I tried to decide my favorite orange ink. but I also don't have many Orange inks, less then 8, for sure. I also really like Jacques Herbin 1798 Cornaline d'Egypte. I don't normally go for shimmering inks, but this one amongst a few others speak to me.

Oh yes! I’ve seen habernaro and it looks gorgeous! 😍 question about j.herbin - I’m currently using emerald of chivor and it takes foreverrrr to dry and is super smudgy even after it dries- it may be the broader nib I’m using but is that something you’ve experienced with those inks at all? I only have this one.

@@julia-here I have tried Emerald Chivor, I feel like it dried slower then the other j Herbin anniversary inks I have tried, but I can't say for sure I tried them in the same pens.
