hi Elena thanks for uploading this video, I have made this by seeing your video your tutorials are best easy to understand, yesterday according to Indian time I saw that you have uploaded video, unfortunately, I missed the stream and at evening I sat to make this illustration but after some time I had to give up thinking that this is not my cup of tea and I left the tutorial but today in the morning when I sat to make it was effortless and I have learned some new things like --- 1) how to equally space objects ( in the making of a straw ) 2) rotate (in the making of oranges) 3) gradient tool 4)clipping mask and many more --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to ask a few questions 1) how you decide where to put highlights? 2) how you choose colors? 3) how you have come up with the idea that orange juice(whole illustration) will look like this? Please answer my questions if possible thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us

@@vocabstation7036 Hey, thanks for your huge comment and i glad what you like my tutorial and learn something new ^) I will try to answer to your questions 1. Before I create new illustration I learned and look a lot of others illustration, photos and even videos and trying to find something common between them. So I look a lot of illustrations and photos with highlights on the glass an they were looked almost the same with my highlights. So the most common thing. All ideas are around us! You need just to see it ^) 2. The same with colors I searching a lot of illustration with orange juice and glasses and took the most lovely colors at my opinion 3. And here the same. I have this glass at home and I love orange juice. And when I've been drinking a juice I thought what I would be a great idea to draw this glass with orange juice. So I found some interesting glasses what I like and then I saw an orange lobule I like. And recreated it ^) I hope I answered you questions

Спасибо! Очень приятно! "Разобрать оформление" (expand appearance) - это команда, которая помогает сохранить пропорции вашей иллюстрации, когда вы будите увеличивать или уменьшать вашу иллюстрацию и все детали будут пропорционально увеличиваться или уменьшаться. Также, когда вы делаете "Oбработку контуров" (pathfinder) , то expand appearance помогает обрести вашей иллюстрации именно те контуры, которые вам нужны были при обрезки (это видно, когда вы выделите свою работу). Вообщем - это одна из самых важных функций именно для пропорций :)
