When at school in the late 80s, I used to deliver the morning paper to a guy called Gerry McKenna. He lived in Newtownards and regaled me almost daily with stories from his time as a side drummer in Ballywalter Flute Band. Sadly, he died in a non-suspicious house fire on Frances Street in the town... I always found him to be a pure gentleman and talented musician...Sadly, in 2021, both attributes are seldom found in the same way, nowadays. RIP Gerry 👍👍👍
