There is a boost or overdrive behind ? I never thought Orange was so distorted....

Wondering the same actually. This thing does have good dirty channel on it, but with the gain set as low as they have it, there has to be some sorta drive or boost there for sure. Got a very Angus Young sounding Marshall tone to it here.

Orange is one of the most distorted amps out there, sometimes they goes into fuzz territory..Back in the days i was suprise always thought that they are vintage sounding light overdrive amps..

What’s your take on main differences between mk2 and mk3? I want whichever one has more wild harmonic-laden and upper-mid-grunting/punching JMP/JCM character

The MKiii has more upper mids, is more scooped compared to the MKii. I have the MKii and love it for the fact that it’s much more mid focused, but if you want more upper mids, the MKiii is the one you’d want.

Also, the MkIII has the attenuator which I’m sure is handy.
