Hi! This frankincense and myrrh blend is one of my favorite essential oil blends. I use it year round in soap and body butter. Hope you’re all doing well! Thanks so much for watching! -Holly :)

Hello, Newer sub here! Ftrankincense and myrrh are fragrances that I really love! Great info and video! Donna in the NE GA mountains
This scent combination sounds literally divine! How elegant that musky wooden sappy floral fragrance must be! I wish you sold your soaps, but thank you for the gorgeous videos and the best Christmas soap I’ve seen so far! Reminds me of a Dutch family I grew up with, and the amazing scents associated with their holiday traditions: paperwhites, oranges with cinnamon and spices poked into the fruit, beeswax candles, lavender in the winter garden, spruce pine tree decorated with popcorn and cranberry garland, frankincense chunks and myrrh oil and spinning kinetic whirligigs

Thank you Holly your videos are always nice and relaxing, plus I love the soap designs, I really love the ghost swirl and the one where you painted on them, looks kinda like a doily lol, but they're beautiful 😍 ♥.

I’ve not heard of orange clay. I may have missed it,but, do you know if the beneficial qualities associated with this clay specifically? I find clays interesting and would like to incorporate them into products more often. Newbie here 😊

Thank you Holly for sharing! Your work and documentary style is just beautiful. Would you say that this orange clay is different from red morrocan clay?

Hi Holly, First I want to say I love your calm and relaxing voice. I do have a question in regards to how many drops or ounces of essential oil to use? I went on the Camden Gray website but there is no percentage listed for each individual oil. Also do you find essential oils stick around after the cure? I hope it wasn’t to many questions…thank you

May I ask where you found the orange clay? TY again for a great video
@hollysoapmaking2 жыл бұрын
Sure! :) I purchased mine from Symphony Scents online. I've seen it listed in a couple of other stores (sometimes called orange illite clay or orange kaolin clay), but this is the only one I've purchased so far.

My clay clumps up even when mixed with water and I can't get all the clumps out with stick blending once I've added it to the batch. What do you suggest?

You added 1 tsp of kaolin clay to 1 cup of oil ratio. How much is 1 cup wt. Is that based on total oil wt or total batch wt.?

Your bars look like the perfect size, what are the dimensions, is it just a regular tall/skinny?
@hollysoapmaking2 жыл бұрын
It’s my favorite size bar to make. :) They’re about 3-3/4 inches tall x 2.5 inches wide x 1 inch thick

I've not heard of orange clay before. Does the colour last?
@hollysoapmaking2 жыл бұрын
Yes, all the clays I've used have held their color really well. :)
