I’ve had this exact model for around two years now. It plays and sounds great! The only thing I’ve changed was the tuning machines. I’ve changed them to some Grover 18:1 ratio after the original tuning machines broke (I dropped it and one of the tuning heads snapped off). Other than that, I say this guitar is a good value

I was hoping to hear you compare it to your Ibanez AC340, as I have a bit of experience with that guitar. I love how the midrange sounds on the AC340. I can tell you that I am not a fan of the “electric” side of this Orangewood. I do really like the looks of the guitar though. Thanks for the review!

I bought mine during their Almost Perfect sale for $206. I actually couldn't fine anything wrong with it. My guess was it was a return. No it doesn't sound as good as a Taylor, but for the money it's a great second guitar. Built like a tank, easy to play, and arrived super well set up. For me it will be the perfect couch guitar.

What a great value that is. Well worth the money even without the Fishman. I am not a huge fan of the low end as it seems as if it is only using the top third of the box, but as you pointed out, you would have to pay several times over to get anything better. Cheers!

Tough market to get in to, but a solid mahogany top, a bone saddle and a 50 quid pickup on a $300 guitar is a generous spec.

Great looking guitar and it sounds great, I have a very similar guitar it's the same specs mahogany solid top laminate back and sides. It's by Artist guitar's and it sounds amazing. Mahogany is the way to go. Thanks for the playing, you gave me lots of ideas and a great choice of tunes.

Overbraced. Imagine if Orangewood's builders actually understood guitar bracing techniques and their effects on tonewood. Way too compressed because of the stiff, overbuilt bracing. All the bass notes are thuddy, whereas, if it were braced more lightly, the top could actually move with the bass notes.
