This is a sanctuary.. most of the orangutan are orphans and raised by the people in rehabilitation centre.. so they are very familiar with people and like to interact with people..

These orangutans are so intelligent and strong. I saw a video of a group of people touring a sanctuary and the female adult specifically picked out the woman and grabbed her hand. Would not let her go until she gave her fruit. I think this went on for 10 minutes or so. There is no way she could break free either.

He's a very smart orangutan, he kept listening and watching out for the staff before he made his move to touch the lady.

You are warned not to interact with them. The lady was just doing as she was told.
@evelynroadmedia9415 Жыл бұрын
I see your point, but on the other hand I understand that interaction should be limited, these are meant to be wild animals, like some of the comments around, interacting with them can have a negative effect as in they then become more dependant on humans for interaction and so on.

How could anyone ever mistreat or kill these animals, you must have something seriously wrong with you

I think he had ulterior motives. He was trying to get her to let her guard down. I guarantee it.
