She kept bringing him over to the window when I visited in August, and also took him to the partition between the two enclosures, so that the other orang utans could see him too 🥰

Yes, we noticed her doing that, the other Orangutans were outside a lot but they did come in every now and again for a check up on them.

It's disturbing to see that Baby Jarang's genitals were painfully swollen in this video from 5 MONTHS ago. And today, almost ½ YEAR later, they're STILL swollen!! Why hasn't Blackpool Zoo done something for this poor baby???

I have found a few tik toks of them. She is such a beautiful orangutan. I'm no expert but from the clips I've seen she kindof knows what she should do but doesn't really understand why like putting the baby on her back. She kind of planks him there but doesn't realise he can't get a grip when he is facing away, or burping him, but on his face not his back! He's going to be a tough little one as he grows older!

Oh wow! 🤩 I’m so happy to see that Jingga and Jarang are doing well❣️ Great to hear that baby is feeding properly and that Jingga protects him when he needs it most. Jarang may spend a bit more time on the ground than other babies, but that probably just means that he’ll be more independent as he grows. New video should be out tomorrow, We don't think Jingga was hand raised but she hasn't experienced babies in any of the Zoo's she has lived in. Our new footage still shows that she is very inexperienced. 🥰
