Please note that I haven't taken the Orbea linkages apart. I didn’t have to do that, also the bike is new at under 200 miles. That said, this purple tool is an important tool for setting up the linkage preload. Not so much for setting up the sag, that can be done with a metric ruler but the sag tool is still nice feature to have.
*Sorry. Pinned comment was deleted by the user. It looks like the sag tool should be used in the non-drive side and NOT from the drive side as I was showing in the video. Also per Orbea USA, the Purple tool has 25% notch which the Green took has 30% notch.*

You state to loosen both the drive and non drive side linkages and then tighten the preload tool. But you should only loosen the drive side. The non drive side linkage should be tightened and the drive side loose when tighten the preload.

You have the tool the wrong way around on the sag , it’s measured from the other end hence the arrow

This tool is for 210x50 shocks, Rise has 210x55 hence it will give you fake measurent and you'll set your sag incorrectly. Use a ruller instead.

Those bearings on rocker links are prone to wear. Mine have been sounding like a pepper grinder after a few rides. Bushings would actually be much better on those points of low repetitive rotation.

Hi, Thanks for the comment. It looks like that comment must’ve been deleted by the user. Basically the tool has to be used in the non-drive side. Not in the drive side like how showed in the video.

I don’t remember anymore but I do remember sending an email to Orbea USA and this is copy and paste from that email. “Thanks for writing. They are both suitable, just that one has the 25% notch and the other has 30% notch.” So the Purple tool has 25% notch.
