I really wish they stuck with tail-to-tail refilling. The reason being that if two ships were being refilled at the same time one could hypothetically tether two starships together nose-to nose, spin the line of four ships using RCS and the Centripetal acceleration would draw the fuel and oxidizer from the 2 inner ships to the 2 outer ones. I like this idea because it's efficient because it saves RCS gas, but it would also look really cool

It depends. On the 4th or 5th trip the receiver could well be heavier than the tanker
