I bought the paper pro once it was launched and using it everyday for work, a super cool device, especially on the color display and I love it is close loop which I will not be distracted when I am writing and thinking

At 0:10 "I used it for one month" and at 1:47 "but me personally when I'm just writing a little bit and reading, I can get to almost 1 month". So you have only charged the device for once since you got it? Seriously? And also at 5:11 the image of the marker tips is for remarkable 2 not paper pro.

ReMarkarkable 2 had a glass screen with a metalic textured film over it. I haven’t scratched mine in 4 years so you have to be pretty careless to scratch it. Remarkable 1 screen was textured plastic

It's relatively niche in my opinion. I don't know a single person who could use such a device more than an iPad. The price makes it very hard to categorise it as "fuck it I'll buy it".

Maybe because most of those people cater the mindset that if a device provides "less" it should price less. And here it becomes subjective since that "less" depends what you expect from the device. Remarkable serves an audience who are fed up with the chunkiness of the iPad and want something more natural, and more focused. And these qualities don't come just by cutting of some of the iPad features which people think is the only thing Remarkable did. If you want to just take notes, iPad is indeed great but if you want to study with proper focus without a single source of distraction, that's where Remarkable makes it's mark.
